Bad fire this morning on Patrick Ave.
It was a fatal I heard it on my scanner. The volunteer stations had to get re-alerted the only fire engine there for a while was from station 16, the paid station. The other stations along with Delmar did get there eventually though! Prayers go out to all involved, and a big thank you to all firefighters!
Two citizens were rescued from a fire this morning and there is no mention of this on your site. What gives with that ?

Although this paid fireman is trying to sneak this one in he fails to mention that paid fireman on duty don't guarantee saving lives.
This isn't a game of paid vs. volunteer. It was a newsworthy act performed by members of the fire department. You have chosen to ignore this news and not post it. This clearly shows your bias and a poor source of news. Print the facts and leave your game of pitting/baiting paid vs. volunteer commentary behind.
anonymous 8:10, Look Big Mouth, FIRST of all, LOOK at the information on this Post. It comes from YOUR department and NOTHING has been added or removed.
SECOND, show me where your PRESS RELEASE is on this fire! YOU CAN'T because there ISN'T one.
When YOUR people publish something tomorrow we will publish it like we always do. Until then and until YOU PEOPLE recognize Salisbury News as Main Stream media and add us to your press release list, BITE ME.
Earlier this week SHOOTING RT. 13 originally no press release.
10:18, I had that before anyone else because we were tipped off by a witness who watched it happen. Hence my knowledge of it being a SPD Officer who did the shooting. I/We did not receive a tip on this particular fire, it happens. Rare, but it happens
