Salisbury Emergency Medical Services. Obviously no need for a paid fire department.

21 more calls to 911 asking for an AMBULANCE and not a fireman, and they sent the fire department anyway.

Pro Qa lunch and dinner not reported.

Look, most of the ambulance calls we just load them in the back and run to the ER which isn't that far away. An ambulance can't carry all the equipment a paramedic might need and a truck can. Why have a paramedic ride in a vehicle that can't carry all the required equipment?

Then why, if an ambulance is short of the required equipment, is there a certification sticker on the back?

Heck, a plain cargo van and a stretcher is a lot cheaper than a danged ambulance. If they're so danged useless, why not sell them off?

9:55. What? You are definitely clueless when it comes to EMS. Ambulances have been around for a long time. Engines and trucks do carry some limited EMS equipment but not nearly as much as an ambulance. You need a much better argument!

Okay, so it's a given without countering comments that there's a bunch of idiots here that believe that ambulance calls without risk of fire are answered by a fire truck. Because there is no way a fully stocked ambulance, totally certified to national standards has anything on board to efficiently transport and treat along the way a patient with any malady. Therefore, a fire truck has to carry more stuff to augment the Ambulance supply? What if midway during the transport the ambulance "runs out of supplies only available on the firetruck" Happens?

955 needs more training.

Idiocy 101 comes to mind.

I'm going to have to move, as I am 60, and may need EMS someday.

Clearly, it's not working here.

WTH are you moronic Farmin trying to say? When you open your mouth there is nothing honest coming out of it. Everything you are saying is a ridiculous lie. Why don't you just quit running your mouth about something you know nothing about. Rick Hoppes is this you?

So please tell me EMS Einstein what required equipment is carried and what required equipment can't be carried. Enquiring Minds of Taxpayers want to know.
