More State Signs Will Better Direct Tourists, Says SHA

CHESTERTOWN — At their meeting Tuesday, Feb. 25, the Kent County Commissioners heard about new highway signs.

Steve Hollie and Nataliya Schroaeder, from the State Highway Administration, gave a PowerPoint presentation on the TAC, or Tourism Area and Corridor, sign program.

The new signs replace several older programs, which concentrated on freeway signs to gas, lodging and “attractions.”

Why not more billboards? Let the private sector promote tourism.

Because the signs are required to thank Martin Owe Malley dont you get it these are really campaign signs.
