Have Fun This Weekend While Supporting Our Students And Schools!

Seussical the Musical
Salisbury Middle School
Salisbury Middle School will have two performances of Seussical the Musical, a zany musical about some of Dr. Seuss’ most beloved characters, at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 1 at the school. The performance weekend coincides with the birthday weekend of beloved children’s book author Dr. Seuss, born March 2, 1904. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students, and are available from any cast member, in the school office or at the door. 410-677-5149.

Bye Bye Birdie (musical, and dinner theatre show)
Mardela Middle and High
Mardela Middle and High School will present the musical Bye Bye Birdie, with shows at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 and March 1 and a Dinner Theatre and Show Sunday, March 1 (dinner catered by Fletchers at 1 p.m., show begins at 2 p.m.). Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for students on Friday and Saturday. Sunday tickets are $20 for the Dinner Show. To purchase tickets, email jmaybury@wcboe.org or call (410) 756-0539.

Big Bucks Bingo to Benefit the Wicomico High Class of 2014
Salisbury Moose Lodge
Wicomico High School will hold its annual Big Bucks Bingo event to benefit WiHi’s 2014 senior class on Saturday, March 1 at the Salisbury Moose Lodge. This will be a great night with Bingo and auction, door prizes, gift certificates, 50/50 raffle, laptop raffle with laptop case, and game prizes, with all baskets and bags filled with goodies. Doors and concessions will open at 5:30 p.m. and games will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance or $35 at the door; must be 18 or older to play. Seussical was amazing! It was difficult to tell that those kids were only middle schoolers! Kudos to Ken Johnson & Toni Daniels for amazing direction, totally seusslike sets, and fabulous vocal coaching!
