How Did Americans Manage To Lose $119 Billion Gambling Last Year?

The world lost a record of amount of money last year, and America led the pack

The gambling industry around the world is huge, but the biggest market is the United States, where gamblers lost a staggering $119 billion in 2013:

Maybe it should read:

"The Gaming Industry made a record amount of money last year."

The drug companies need to come up with yet another drug to combat this "disease". There's a drug for everything else.

I don't know that I believe that. Who even has any money to gamble. Another BS story thrown out there like we "lost" all our money through "our vices." I lost all my money, not that I had that much, but it wasn't due to gambling. I lost my full time job. Have worked part-time for the past two years. Lost my health insurance when I lost my job. Lost my new car, as I sold it as soon as I knew I would have trouble with the payments. I guess really you could say I gambled. I gambled that a person who worked hard could get ahead and have some creature comforts in the good ole USA. Don't get me wrong, I love the country. Wouldn't live anywhere else, but we sure have "lost" alot and I don't think it was from "gambling."
