JOINT LEGISLATIVE AGENDA FOCUSES ON BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

ANNAPOLIS – Senate President Thomas V. “Mike” Miller Jr. and House Speaker Michael E. Busch announced their joint legislative agenda on Friday, which focused on promoting economic and business development.

The package includes legislation to assist universities and their surrounding communities with tax credits and endowments, a seed fund for cybersecurity start-ups and a reformation of the estate tax.

“This is a proposition to move our state forward in the area of creating a better business climate and taking advantage of an innovative economy, such as cybersecurity,” Busch said.

Maryland, it's to late. The O'Malley and Democratic taxes have made Maryland not a business friendly state. Matter of fact, if I could afford, it, I would move to Delaware in a heartbeat.

If Maryland embarked on a corrective course today - (which is all rhetoric in my humble opinion) - it would take at least a decade to undo all of the hostile anti-business legislation that has already been enacted.

Seriously, all of this publicity is a smokescreen to O'Malley making a move on the Presidential bid. And Mike Miller, and Michael Busch are trying to put lipstick on pig in order to try and thwart the anti-business image. Remember what Money Magazine said;

- Maryland a 'TAX HELL'.

It's 'technology ignorant' lawmakers and judges like these that are promoting such witless propaganda. First, a federal judge gives the right to conceal practices, block content and discriminate traffic over a consumer's access service to ISPs and now we have these moronic lawmakers who actually believe that "cyber security" is achievable. It isn't! Just look at the NSA, for crying out loud. Now MD's dim-witted politicians are promoting this state as the sanctuary for a myth. The technological ignorance of these people is embarrassing is what it is.
