Wicomico High School To Lead Downtown Plaza Holiday Tree Lighting

Mayor Ireton invites the public to join him at the annual City Tree Lighting ceremony. This year’s ceremony will be held on Friday, November 15th at 5:30pm on the Salisbury Downtown Plaza, and in conjunction with the last 3rd Friday of the year.

The ceremony will feature the Wicomico High School Chorus performing at 5:30pm followed by the Wicomico High School Band bringing Santa down the Plaza to the tree site. Mayor Ireton and other officials will be speaking and then the tree will be lit at approximately 6:30pm. Santa will then be greeting children and professional pictures with him will be provided at First Shore Federal Bank on Division Street.

That damn Mayor is going to have a tree lighting ceremony? How dare him! He is worthless. I cannot believe the city would let him get away with this.
