Radiation Level Update

According to RadCast.org, radiation levels calmed down a bit in our nation since yesterday. In Huntsville, Alabama, levels are sitting at 42 counts per minute, with spokes of 47, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is hovering at 45. Charleston, West Virginia is slightly higher, with levels of 63 counts per minute. In the Midwest, Frederic, Wisconsin is seeing levels of 61 counts per minute, and South Dakota is hitting 52. Closer to the West Coast, levels in Chino Valley, Arizona are being reported at 51 counts per minute, and Fresno, California is hitting 56. RadCast.org reminds us that the alert level is 100 counts per minute, and they're working hard to keep us informed.

Those mentioned appear to be within normal limits.

So, is this an increase or decrease over the last 75 years?

Is this an issue?

Really? Do you even realize what you wrote?

Don't believe everything you read. One of my closest friends for over 35 years was the head of a team (top dog) and whose job it was to go inside nuclear reactor vessels during shutdown inspection periods and submit reports to the NRC used to tell me, it's only a matter of time. What he meant was many reactors needed either closed down or substantial repair. He said because they generated big dollars, only if up and running, seldom was anything ever done, year after year, decade after decade. He primarily inspected U.S. plants but did inspections all over the world. He was a German, intensely intelligent, and said he knew the risks to his potential health. Seldom drank, even a beer, never smoked, outwardly looked healthy as a horse all of his life. First he lost one lung then in just a few months the other failed and he died. Even though he made a lot of money, I wonder what he would do, if he could live his short life over again. He placed alot of faith in his RAD meter, a personal accumulated radiation device. Guess they're flawed, or don't work at all. Again he said this to me a dozen times, it's only a matter of time. That was a reference to the day when U.S. nuclear reactors fail and there's a melt down. He knew far more about them, from the inside out, including how the crooked politics of nuclear energy worked, because they're in bed with the federal government. Far more, then this johnny come lately, Radcast.org will ever know with their hand held geiger counter, safe from any harm.

Normal limits are greatly extended if one maintains a radiation resistant diet.Rather than me explaining the particulars of that diet, anyone interested should research it on line. The fact that it's not hard to adhere to and involves minor diet adjustments makes it a must do.
