William Dougan Calls Fiscal Cliff Deal A Bad Deal

While most Americans are breathing a sigh of relief today, one federal union leader is calling the fiscal cliff deal a "bad deal" for feds. William Dougan of the National Federation for Federal Employees called sequestration "the most important federal workforce issue of our generation" and criticized lawmakers for extending the deadline. He also said Congress had failed to address the country's borrowing limit, which leads to uncertainty in the federal workforce. He said federal workers had become a pawn in political games.

No deal. Dems got their higher taxes with absolutely no cuts to spending. That's not a deal - it's a travesty. In fact the various provisions of this so-called deal will INCREASE the deficit. I'd like to jump off the ship but I don't know how?/!?
