Fire Damages Accomack Co. Church.

ACCOMACK COUNTY - A church in Accomack County caught fire Wednesday morning and authorities are trying to determine whether it's connected to a series of arsons they've been investigating since November 2012.

Fire was spotted just before 9:00 a.m. at Adams United Methodist Church on Lee Mont Road in Parksley. The roof and steeple containing a thousand-pound bell collapsed.

Captain Jimmy Diskette with Parksley EMS said the church, which is active, was empty at the time, so no one was hurt.

If it's "the redneck arsonist", this should be the last straw now that the feds might be involved for a hate crime..

Why has'nt that guy been caught yet? Could'nt a sting operation or something be set up? I found it interesting on the half-butted WBOC news the "officials" said right away this wasn't arson. Then they said an investigation is being started. How could they come up with that conclusion before an investigation is even started? Sounds like the typical DT/BOC crime cover up policy.
