New Orleans Schools Ban Creationism And ‘Revisionist’ History In Rebuke Of Texas

The school board for Orleans Parish in Louisiana voted Tuesday night to ban the teaching of creationism as science and what they called a “revisionist” history curriculum promoted by the state of Texas.None of the six schools run by the board actually teach creationism, according to The Times-Picayune, but outgoing Orleans Parish School Board President Thomas Robichaux felt strongly about the measure (PDF) anyway, which passed in two parts.

Thank god.

If they can't teach of GOD's creation why should they be able to teach evolution?

And they can't PROVE either one.

They want you to believe their version on faith but deny us the same courtesy.

I was listening to a kids program we had on for my grandson this morning.

A woman was singing about aliens in a counting lesson.

5 aliens and one went away, 4 aliens left. etc.

It just struck me odd that they would use aliens as a 'tool'?

Anyway, more and more I am being convinced that home schooling is the way to go.

That's easy. Because in Science class you teach SCIENCE. Creationism is not science. Evolution is. I don't understand what's so difficult about that.

Evolution was started by religion to keep people traffic down at the pearly gates
