Clock Ticks On Possible Gambling Special Session


Time is running out for gambling supporters to get legislation creating a sixth casino before voters this fall.

Today and tomorrow , Governor Martin O'Malley is holding  meetings to determine if a special session to consider the legislation can take place.

This morning, the governor meets with Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker and Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett.

Absolutely inexcuseable by our legislature. One only has to drive-thru the parking lots at Dover or Harrington to see all the Maryland & Virginia tags. Those are a lot of the same cars that would go to Ocean Downs.

With the amount of MD $$$ going to Delaware, both Dover & Harrington should build a new wing on their casino & dedicate it to those in power in Annapolis for their stupidity.
