SU MEN’S LAX BEATS STEVENSON (AGAIN) FOR CONFERENCE TITLE

In another exciting game, the Gulls lead most of the way in a 12-9 win over the Mustangs at Sea Gull Stadium – the second in 2 weeks -- but this time not as close or exciting as the earlier victory on a goal with just a few seconds left at Stevenson.

SU’s age-experience proved decisive against a very good but younger squad that may play here again in the NCAA playoffs.

Corey Nowak scored with several sizzler shots at ground level that really sparked the team, and the defense was stellar. More details to come.

This win should give the Gulls the top seed and its home-field advantage in the playoffs leading to the championship game in Massachusetts.

SU is fortunate that Stevenson is moving to another conference next year, because the really good Gulls will be gone and Stevenson's best guys are underclassmen, like that attackman who went to Parkside - don't know how Coach Berk. failed to get him unless the family wanted him to go somewhere other than Surfboard University.

dunno... Maybe coach didn't think he was as good as you do...National Champions - 2011, 2008, 2007, 2005, 2004, 2003, 1999, 1995, 1994 and counting! Gulls will reload for next year

So, they sent him to a glorified community college? Or maybe he didn't get accepted into Salisbury, it isn't exactly easy to get into these days. Stevenson will accept anyone with a pulse.

Salisbury will have plenty of Division 1 transfers who want to come win a championship next year and play for the best coach in lacrosse. Salisbury reloads and has a great coach who makes in game adjustments better than anyone. Especially the goofball mustang coach with his untied boots and green plaid shirt, who Berkman always out coaches. Also, it was Stevenson who decided to switch conferences since they could only win one CAC championship during their time in the CAC. I'm sure they have a nice trophy case for that one lonely trophy.
