Yahoo is reportedly planning a massive restructuring that may include thousands of layoffs, according to a report by All Things Digital. The layoffs will apparently be announced later this month.
Don't consider this part of the boom-bust cycle. This is mostly about more savvy competitors, e.g. Google, better serving customers.
