Seems as though the "new" Delmar, MD Mayor and Council have hit the roads running. Tom "Bunky" Luffman took to his Facebook page this week, stating, "Minutes after Mayor Anderton was declared the winner of the Mayoral race he was interviewed by the Daily Times. In that interview he set a priority to make communication easier from the town to the residents and vice versa. Our new facebook page is one avenue to achieve his goal. I encourage everyone to like it."
It certainly is nice to see the Mayor and Council 'put their money where their mouths are' by following through with campaign promises and initiatives to improve our town! Hopefully this will encourage other small, local towns to get on board with the advantages of social networking communications!
