I understand why you put this up but I don't think the two can be compared.

Soldiers who die are hero's to those that knew them sure.

But realistically they are mere pawns in a chess game made up of old men in suits and corporations.

They are not defending us from an invasion. We are the invaders. And why are we invading? For profit.

Our freedoms are not being attacked from outside forces. We are attacked from within.

It is a nice sentiment but our soldiers are dying in vain.

The politicians and the media paint a pretty picture for us concerning the wars and our 'successes'.

But the ones who have been there and are there tell a much different story than what we hear from our so called leaders and MSM.

To me this is just another attempt to get public support for an unnecessary and failing occupation.

Put the flag down and look past what we are being spoon fed.

It's been over ten years and nothing is better for our troops or the people who have to live outside of the eyesight of our bases there.

Agreed. Our soldiers need not be a pawn for money while over seas.they need to be pawns for money here while protecting our borders here in America.while we are out invading we are being invaded.we need to mind our own business and borders.

3:51-Unless the likes of Ron Paul get elected,America will not mind it's own business. If you and I were 90 or so,we would recall the days when America only meddled when given no alternative.
