National Guard To Be Deployed In Another American City

Well it looks like the National Guard is going to be deployed in another city in the U.S.

Camden N.J. -
http://www.myfoxphilly.com/dpp/news/local_news/camden-asks-national-guard-for-help-120611

Little by little we will be exposed to more and more military presence in our communities until we are used to seeing them everywhere all the time. Patrolling our streets and checking our papers. Maybe even checking our national I.D. cards Mitt Romney wants us to carry. Things are falling apart.

Wait! First New Orleans and now Camden N.J.? Something is very wrong here. Are we under martial law?

The cure for the problem is a swift death penalty for the criminals, once they've been convicted, not the National Guard.

Maybe more will wake up now. Where's that guy who says we have nothing to worry about? If you don't like it don't fly? Hope he can shoot straight.

Did any of you even read the article? The reason they want to bring in the NG is they were forced to cut 170 officers (hiring back 30)recently. The city seems to be desperate for law and order and with out having the money for cops, they feel their only choice is to ask the governor for the NG.
By the comments that people left on the actual article, they seem to be in favor of what ever it takes to make the city safe again.
I don't read this as some marshal law issue.

7:20am go back to world history and look at how other people were led to believe this was the way to go. But don't just look at it study it! Slowly but surely we are losing our freedom in this country and if we just sit back and say this is all good then we will deserve what we get! This whole new law is against all of what our fore fathers wrote in the constitution and then later reinforced in the bill of rights. The major trouble is that this military movement answers to one person and that is not the American public. It's time we the people stand strong with one another and refuse to be victim to this behavior. If the people were allowed to defend their own property and well being with out the fear of prosecution this crime wave would end quickly. However in this wet pants society we live in everywhere you look someone is being sued and in many cases wrongfully but we sit by and say oh well glad that wasn't me. Take a stand against crime and stomp it out at the roots and we wouldn't need so many cops. We surely don't need the military rising up against our own people!

Amen 7:51!! It isn't the job of law enforcement to protect people. The Supreme Court ruled on this in 2005 - http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/28/politics/28scotus.html . Since that is the case, why is the guard being brought in to perform the law enforcement function of protecting the public when it isn't even a law enforcement function? No. We are being de-sensitized. Soon we will be so used to seeing the military on every corner that we will think something is wrong if they are NOT there. In your mind, picture the national guard on every corner. Now change that mental picture to black and white. And change the attire everyone is wearing to something from the 30's and what do you have? Think about it. Nazi Germany prior to and during WWII!

7:20 are you smoking crack? First our government (both parties) pass a law that allows the military to arrest people and hold them without trial indefinitely. Then - within 24 hours of this being signed into law - military is deployed in a large U.S. city. New Orleans. To perform the law enforcement funtion in the name of public safety. Then....another city falls in line. Open your eyes. Many Americans will wake up now. Many never will. Those who won't are the sheeple. Those who do and take action are the patriots. Which are you?

"It is the duty of the patriot to protect his country from his government." - - Thomas Paine

Sad it couldn't be done at the ballot box.

9:11 they are preparing. As things unfold they will become more and more active. Locate them and help them. They will be our last chance of saving our republic. From what I understand they need secure communications and a place they can go for medical treatment without fear. They are your neighbors. Farmers, doctors, electricians, carpenters, chemists, x-ray techs, police officers, some military members - current and former, maintenance men, etc. You would be surprised how many are preparing for this. They are developing networks that range from local bartering to coast to coast information sharing. No one can do everything but everyone can do something. Get out there. Plug in. American Patriots are needed. Nothing illegal. Just American Patriots saving their republic.

Does anybody remember a few months ago, the youtube video showing thousands of military equipment on rail cars going through the mid west and north west painted black...as in civilian mobilization?

@9:11

The National Guard IS the state militia.

Wake up 10:17. The ng is under the control of the federal government at their discretion. The militia is every man between the ages of 17 and 45.

There ain't enough National Guard or state police, or even active duty military units to supress a full-scale civil insurrection. But thats whats coming down the pike. They know it. EVERY possible means to control it and suppress it are being put in place. Political, economic, social, and martial means. If you don't think so, you are not paying attention.
