THANK YOU DEBBIE CAMPBELL AND TERRY COHEN

While these two Council Members have been taking beatings year after year, once certain Council Members were REMOVED from Office Debbie & Terry were able to push to restructure the re bidding of several bonds, saving YOU the taxpayers more than $270,000.00!

Kind of makes you wonder WHY former Council Members couldn't be bothered, doesn't it.

Just remember this when Mike Dunn decides to throw his hat into the ring and run for Mayor of Salisbury.

Yeah, yeah. And it took them 30 minutes last night to change the wording of one phrase in the resolution.

The $270,000 they supposedly saved will give them more money to hide away.

The citizens won't benefit. Council will build up the reserve and whine about being broke. Same old. Same old.

2:25, You don't go to many meetings, do you? Cohan and Campbell have been strong advocates for the taxpayers since each took office. First, Campbell stood as a lone voice and then after she and Cohen were both on council motions could finally receive a second and be discussed in the light of day. That is something that Dunn, Cathcart, COmegys and Shields (or Tilghman) wanted to have happen. Campbell and Cohen have taken more than a few beatings to stand up for the taxpayers and residents ofthe city. You comment is not supported by the facts.

2:25-

The council deals with legislative matters, like resolutions. Accuracy counts when drafting legislation - speed usually doesn't.
If you want fast, watch NASCAR. Funny how cars can go over 200 miles an hour yet the race seems to take forever.

The money goes into the city's general fund. The mayor decides how to use it and the council yeas or nays. The money will be most likely spent on city services to the tune of $30,000 per year, which is the amount that the bond will yield over the next decade or so.

You got that right. I keep hearing about how screwed up some of the legislation coming from Dunn, Comegy, Cathcart, etc. was and still is, and how it cost the taxpayers millions in developer reimbursements, dumb projects and what looks like some backdoor payments to "special friends". And it looks like those same people miss having a council they can twist around their fingers.
