Maryland is often referred to by many businesses as being HOSTILE. It wasn't enough for BP to decide to leave Frederick, MD. It had long been considered to be a 'cornerstone' for Maryland's future.
Well today I got word that the MDE issued a large fine to a Wind turbine project located in Garrett County. And some people wonder how Maryland got its tarnished image.

That figures. Isn't it typical of Maryland's bureaucrats trying generate fees through over-regulation. I can see some industries - but Green Industries being targeted for destroying the environment is going just to far.
Just imagine the environmental benefits derived from these wind farms. Instead what does Maryland do - issue fines.
This just beats all I've ever heard. What is next - fine the postman for delivering the mail?

i have to pay the state of md $10.00 for every stone we sell, in additon to the sales tax. we were also told not to tell the public. so im not going to tell anybody ha ha. thanks sjd
Someone from the CIA should be called-in to root out these bureaucrats. If the CIA cannot get the job done then someone should contact the KGB and have them do it.
A crime is being committed alright - and it is the MDE who is the villain.
