why is a child when they get hurt but an adult if they get arrested at 14 years old?
First of all, you didn't phrase your statement correctly. When a 14, 15, or 16 year old commits a crime, they are not automatically charged as an adult. It's only the most violent crimes when they are charged as an adult. It is because of intent. They never intend to get injured, but a 14 year old that joins a gang, and shoots and kills a nice old lady from down the street, they intended to commit murder. Is this too difficult for you to understand ?
Joe We saw these young people playing football in the street. They stand in the street thinking other drivers can see them and slow down this is not always the case. This is why children are told not to play in the street.
I wonder why when this happened a ambulance, tanker truck from the fire department, a hook and ladder and two police cars arrive. I guess they thought the victim was hurled up a tree.
I hope this young person is ok..I hope he has learned not to play in the street. These kids walk in the street, walk across the street and take their time so you can wait until they get out of the way. We were out the other evening on route 13 it was dark and rainy. We saw three diffeent individuals in dark clothing stand in the center of the road atempting to cross the street. This is just stupidity at its best.

4:30 must be a lawyer. Someone asks a simple question and they have to end it with a smart @** comment.
