Why do I not care about this? Why is this a law? Why are peoples lives being ruined because of something they are doing to themselves?

Why should the government control what I can and cannot do to my own body?

totalitarianism.

But the Docs can keep PUSHING those pills huh.

Actually, why are OC taxpayers funding the OCPD to enforce ANY law outside of OC. This is a job for the County Sheriff that OCPD should simply be passing the matter on to.

Is it any wonder that OC management can't seem to be able to fund everything they do? That includes elected "micro management" as well.

The police call 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana a "large amount"? LOL!! I guess THAT makes them feel good about themselves, but the truth is that amount is pretty small scale. And they got $310, too?! Wow! I saw the headline and thought maybe 2-3 hundred pounds, but 1 1/2 lbs? Didn't even make a TINY dent in the availability or price. Like killing ONE fly in a horse pasture and bragging about what a fantastic job you're doing for pest control...a better headline? "Forty cops fired for wasting time & tax money". Just for perspective, you can sell that much pot at Seacrets on a Friday night in about 30 minutes....or less.
