A man living as an "adult baby" in California claims the federal government will allow him to continue collecting Social Security disability checks, after investigators apparently closed the probe into his case requested by Sen. Tom Coburn.
Stanley Thornton drew the outrage of Coburn, an Oklahoma Republican, after he was featured on the National Geographic Channel show "Taboo" earlier this year. Coburn asked for an investigation from the Social Security Administration, questioning why he was allowed to receive federal benefits -- all the while living part of his life as a baby, sleeping in a crib and drinking from a bottle.

I am tired of working hard all of life and these people get "all their benefits" to be lazy. It is a terrible slam to all the hard working people here in the US. If they even want a job, they could get a job as a sideshow in a carnival.

Oviously, he has a mental disability if he sleeps in a crib, drinks from a bottle, and sucks on a pacifier. Like it or not, Social Security does take care of people with disabilities.

9:36 is collecting some kind of check, too. Stubbed their toe at Wal-Mart, or got a splinter at Home Depot. ANYONE trying to defend THIS guy has a glaring disability ---- no functioning brain. There are some TRULY disabled people who go through HELL trying to get qualified. MONTHS of waiting and thousands spent negotiating the system. THAT'S how entrenched the 'disabilty' programs are, when a SENATOR can't even get it stopped. Does the woman who "baby's" him ALSO get a government check for "CARING" for a "disabled" person?? God help us.
