A COASTAL FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR OCEAN CITY, MARYLAND FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING

The National Weather Service (Wakefield, Virginia) has issued a COASTAL FLOOD WATCH for Ocean City, Maryland from Saturday morning (October 28, 2011) through Saturday evening.  A Coastal Storm will develop over the Carolina's tonight and move up the coast tomorrow through Sunday.  The current forecast for the Ocean City area is this evening rain, mainly after with a low around 47. Breezy, with a east wind between 18 and 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Saturday: Day break to mid morning rain with a high near 53. Winds east/northeast 20-25 mph with gusts 35 mph with a shift to the north late afternoon with winds  between 21 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
