TODAY: MARYLAND DEMOCRATIC PARTY TO HOLD PRESS CALL ON RICK PERRY’S DISASTROUS RECORD
ANNAPOLIS – The Maryland Democratic Party will hold a press call TODAY, September 27 at 2:15 p.m. EDT with Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown, Salisbury Mayor Jim Ireton, Maryland Democratic Party Chair Yvette Lewis and Rita Haecker, President of the Texas State Teachers Association, to discuss Perry’s disastrous record and his agenda, which will hurt the middle class, seniors and students while protecting millionaires and big business.
Rick Perry, who held a fundraiser today in Baltimore, is wedded to positions that are far-right, divisive and out of the mainstream. He and the rest of the Republican field don’t have any new ideas that will create jobs in Maryland or help working class Americans. These Tea-Partying Republicans are committed to dismantling Social Security and Medicare, rolling back critical protections for consumers and promoting economic policies that will lead the country back into recession.

considering the lack of jobs generated and / or lost in maryland during the last few years maybe they ought to look into why maryland sucks when it comes to opportunities for residents aquiring good jobs. especially salisbury!

Maryland has become famous for their pocket liners. The Liberals go to Annapolis, line their pockets, and panic whenever their livelihood is threatened.
Jimmy boy fits right there as anti-Perry. While Perry has overseen the creation of half the new jobs in the country since the anointed one became President, Ireton has gone out of his way to create unemployment. Now he's mad at Perry for not joining these efforts.
What in the hell are MARYLAND politicians "getting together" to bash a POSSIBLE (but no so likely) Republican candidate? I guess obama has created so many jobs that they don't even need to address HIS failure and incompetency. And he actually has the job. they better start retuerning some of thier salary if these slimeballs think THIS is what we (as in taxpayers--- "We, the People) pay them to do. Its their pious arrogance that I refer to all the time. On display right in front of you.
