Here We Go Again

Dear Friend,

Your support in the past election touched me and my family deeply. As we approach 11 months since Election Day 2010, you would have to agree that the work that needs to happen in Washington is just not getting done. Unemployment is still above 9%, our debt is still not under control and our President insists on continuing down the same road he has led us before. Let us not forget that Obamacare has not been repealed and remains a real threat to our health-care system and our prosperity.

Where is our leadership? For Marylanders and non-Marylanders alike, what meaningful contributions to the discussion of getting Americans back to work, solving our debt crisis, and addressing the government’s out of control spending have our two U.S. Senators, Cardin and Mikulski provided? The answer is “NONE.” As an elected official on the local level, I lowered taxes twice, cut the size of government, and cut government spending. We also increased future job opportunities in our community through approval of a number of small business projects. We need real leadership in the U.S. Senate from Maryland. We in Maryland deserve it, the Nation deserves it.

Let’s be frank, if we can elect additional Republican Senators then the gridlock in the U.S. Senate can be broken. Maryland can be one of the battleground states with me in the race. I believe we can build on the momentum you helped me gain in 2010, and give Senator Cardin his pink slip. There is no question that Senator Cardin is more vulnerable than Senator Mikulski. Still, the question only you can help me answer “Is Senator Cardin vulnerable enough for Dr. Eric Wargotz to beat him?”

My core campaign team and I have been carefully evaluating whether to formally enter the 2012 election cycle. As I continue to travel around the great State of Maryland and to reach out across this great Nation trying to gauge potential support for another run, I am encouraged! We are not there yet.

I cannot and you would not want me to make such a commitment to enter the 2012 U.S. Senate race, blindly. That is why I call on you now to do what you have done before and that is to support me as you did in 2010.

With your contribution, we can seek to provide an answer to that question and have the data in hand to garner the support we need State-wide and nationally to win the U.S. Senate seat and send Senator Cardin home. The Federal Campaign reporting deadline is this Friday, September 30th.

You may contribute online (click here) or send checks made to “Wargotz for US Senate” and mailed to "Wargotz for US Senate, P.O. Box 790, Centreville, MD 20617

I thank you in advance for your contribution!

Sincerely,

Eric
Eric Wargotz, M.D.

Nobody around here has any money to donate you d-ass. Things like rent, house payment and electric bills,etc... get in the way. People around here think politicans are crap. Go pan handle somewhere else.

Here comes the NEXT round of "I'm going to change this nasty stuff going on in Washington!!" If history is any teacher, he's lying. How many times does a joke have to played on you before you start getting angry? Even just a bit? How many wealthy people have to tell you that they are CONCERNED for you, when in real life, they wouldn't let you in their house, invite you to a dinner party, admit they even KNEW you, or buy a magazine from your kids to help their (eewww, public school) band uniform drive. Long ago, they stopped worrying about an electric bill, or food for their kids, or how to keep their used car running. I wonder, after a couple of decades of hearing this same routine from every candidate (and then seeing their results), ANY of them can say it with a straight face or with a hint of sincerity.

The GOP in Md. can come up with a much more viable candidate than Dr. Wargotz. I have talked him in an informal small group setting and am not impressed. Cardin needs to go, but Wargotz is not the man to send him packing.
