Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 14 August 2011
Location: 400 block of Swan Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Deandre L. Rogers, 30, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 14 August 2011
at 9:41 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office investigated an altercation at a residence in the 400 block of Swan Road in Salisbury. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a victim who advised that he had been assaulted by his mother’s boyfriend, Deandre Rogers, who lives in the same residence. During the investigation, the deputy observed signs of injury on the victim the corroborated that account.

The deputy placed Rogers under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Rogers in the Detention Center in lieu of $25,000.00 bond.

Incident: Motor Vehicle Theft
Date of Incident: 14 August 2011
Location: 6500 block of Morris Street, Parsonsburg, MD
Suspect: Gary R. Gray, 44, Pittsville, MD

Narrative: On 14 August 2011
at 1:51 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office received information that a subject named Gary Gray was operating a blue Chevrolet Corvette in the Parsonsburg area that was reportedly stolen from out of the area. The deputy responded and located Gray with the Corvette in question on the side of the road in the 6500 block of Morris Street in Parsonsburg.

Upon inquiring into the status of the Corvette, the deputy discovered that it had been reported stolen in Baltimore.

Gray was placed under arrest for possession of the stolen Corvette and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial
appearance, the Commissioner detained Gray in the Detention Center in lieu of $25,000.00 bond.

Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 13 August 2011
Location: 7200 block of Friendship Road, Pittsville, MD
Suspect: Katie L. Ruark, 27, Pittsville, MD

Narrative: On 13 August 2011
at 11:00 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office investigated an altercation at a residence in the 7200 block of Friendship Road in Pittsville. Investigation revealed that Katie Ruark was involved in an altercation with her live in boyfriend that turned physical.

According to the boyfriend, Ruark scratched him in the face and on his leg.
Based on the investigation and the corroborating signs of injury on the boyfriend, the deputy placed Ruark under arrest. Upon arrest she was transported to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Ruark in the Detention Center in lieu of $10,000.00 bond.

Charges: Assault 2nd Degree

Incident: Possession of CDS / Intent to Distribute
Date of Incident: 12 August 2011
Location: 7800 block of Jersey Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Matthew B. Wells, 21, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 12 August 2011
at 1:49 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stopped an individual later identified as Matthew Wells for operating an improperly modified motor scooter in the roadway. During the ensuing encounter, the deputy began inspecting the modifications
made by Wells when the deputy discovered a bottle hidden under the seat that contained what the deputy recognized as Oxycodone pills. Based on the amount and lack of a prescription to Wells, the deputy surmised Well’s intent to distribute the narcotic. Upon arresting Wells, the deputy also located a used crack pipe that still held the remnants of the drug in it.

The deputy transported Wells to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Wells in the
Detention Center in lieu of $50,000.00 bond.

Charges: Possession of Oxycodone with the Intent to Distribute
Possession of Crack Cocaine

This IS NOT the same Gary Gray that plays softball. Same middle name even, but not Gilligan. He is as honest as they come. Just ask Sandy.
