Karemore Pharmacy

Dear Joe,

I know sometimes a local business gets a kudos on your blog. Well here is one that people would be interested in. Karemore Pharmacy on Snow Hill Rd. in the Food Lion Shopping Center has got to be the best pharmacy in town. The staff is very friendly, you don’t have to wait in a line for hours for your prescriptions to be filled and best of all, it’s rare to pay full price. The pharmacists there is up to date on all manufacturer’s coupons and offers to save you on Brand name prescriptions. They will take the time to make sure you get a discount if one is available. Not only do they offer local delivery, they will also go to your house and pick up your prescriptions and deliver them. I’m sure most other pharmacies only care about making money.

These pharmacist actually are compassionate and understanding when you are having difficulty paying your bill. That is a rare find these days, especially since it seems like everyone is out there for themselves and want to make a buck. If you are looking for a fast, friendly and caring pharmacy, you need to check out Karemore.

Signed,
A Happy Customer

Funny that you would write about them today. They screwed up my meds twice this week and I was considering calling Joe to let him know. Glad to hear that you had a good experience with them but I'm not sure that is the norm.

Everyone makes mistakes. I've personally never had any issues with Karemore Pharmacy. Perhaps you should check your own meds before leaving the pharmacy.

I love Karemore. They have meet my needs in every way. Never do you wait more than 5 minutes. They explain everything. I am surprised to hear even once complaint. I would be surprised if in fact it was their fault. Never have I ever been so excited about this type of service. But after my last experience with Rite Aid I swore I would NEVER give them any of my money or business ever again. I made the right choice to go to Karemore. PLEASE try them...I am glad I did.

4:20-I used to use Apple Drugs for YEARS, even back when it was called Ames Drugs. I stopped using them when I had to wait for a prescription for over an hour and a half when I was told it would be "20 minutes." I had strep throat, was running a fever of 101, and had no choice because I needed the medication right away. This was before there were so many other pharmacies. I have even been the first customer through the door with a prescription and been told it is a 20 minute wait. It never is. It is always at least 30 minutes and usually more. I have only been there one other time for prescriptions, and that was when my mother required a compound drug. Apple is the only compounding pharmacy in the area that I know of, so I was stuck waiting forever and a day for a TINY bottle of whatever it was.

Mt. Hermon Pharmacy is the best drugstore that I have ever dealt with in Salisbury. Dr. Waheed personally checks every prescription. He makes sure that the customer understands the directions as to how to take the medication before it leaves the premises. He verifies that any other prescriptions that you take don't conflict with the present one getting filled. His staff is most accomodating and quickly fills your prescriptions. Coffee, water, etc. along with a nice waiting area with TV is most appreciated.

One mistake by a pharmacy can send you to PGH or the funeral home. Good Luck. Hundreds die each year from mistakes such as being given the wrong medication or drugs that don't mesh together in your system.
Check the statistics.

I use BiState Pharmacy in Delmar. Dr Ed Asare is a very competent pharmacist, friendly and suggests generic brands to save you money if verified by your doctor. He brings humor to your visit and his smile is free medicine to all. A very pleasant experience for his patrons. Top notch guy.I feel safe with my medications filled there. Always ready to answer questions and insure that you understand the label instructions.

I always found that some pharmacists were so happy to see you walk thru the door that I finally figured out they were stoned from expermenting with some of those pills behind the counter. Atleast that must be the case in those large chain pharmacies where it takes so long to get them filled.
