A West Philadelphia abortion doctor, his wife and eight other suspects are now under arrest following a grand jury investigation.
Dr. Kermit Gosnell, 69, faces eight counts of murder in the deaths of a woman following a botched abortion at his office, along with the deaths of seven other babies who, prosecutors allege, were born alive following illegal late-term abortions and then were killed by severing their spinal cords with a pair of scissors.
“I am aware that abortion is a hot-button topic,” said District Attorney Seth Williams. “But as District Attorney, my job is to carry out the law. A doctor who knowingly and systematically mistreats female patients, to the point that one of them dies in his so-called care, commits murder under the law. A doctor who cuts into the necks severing the spinal cords of living, breathing babies, who would survive with proper medical attention, is committing murder under the law.”
Gosnell is facing Murder in the 3rd Degree for the death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar. Mrs. Mongar died on November 20, 2009 when she was overdosed with anesthetics prescribed by Gosnell. He is also facing seven Murder charges for the deaths of infants who were killed after being born viable and alive during the 6th, 7th and 8th month of pregnancy. Gosnell is also facing numerous other charges.

You have to wonder about somebody who makes their living killing babies.
What kind of person could do that?
And why would somebody trust a doctor who could kill a baby without remorse?
I'm pro-choice.
But make your choice BEFORE having sex, not after.
Killing a baby is murder.
That made me shiver when I read that. He is going to hell. I don't care if you could prove the babies wouldn't have survived. They took a breath, therefore, were alive and then murdered. To me, it is the same thing as if someone severed an adult's spine. Unfathomable.
Some of the very people who are outraged by this are ironically probably pro-choice. Sadly, tragedies like this do not change their stance.I hope he gets the book thrown at him.
I am PRO abortion, meaning I am definately for it. Every pregnancy should go to full term. The child should be removed from the selfish females womb and given up for adoption to a family that will cherish it. Just as the females turned over their unborn children to an unqualified, pretend abortion doctor knowing full well that he would kill their child. And now that the truth has surfaced of the horrors that he did to the living, breathing children by murdering them by stabbing them to death or just cutting them into pieces until dead, then the abortion should continue. Strap that selfish female devil to the table and finish the job! That would be a well deserved ending to the crime. Pro abortionist are MURDERS, plain and simple, nothing less. And many of the females, have probably already laid on that table, willfully killing their very own children. Thou shall not kill! That's God's law not mine.
