Meet America's 25 Richest Politicians

Per the just released OpenSecrets list of top 25 wealthiest politicians in America, there are 12 republicans and 12 democrats (and Hillary, whatever she is). While we applaud the diversity among the country's richest "representatives", we can't help but wonder if these people actually "represent" the common man, or the man (such as themselves) having a minimal average net worth of $28 million...

Full list of America's finest. The fact that Nancy Pelosi' minimum net worth has been disclosed at ($7) Million does not really surprise us: all that facial self-improvement does not come cheap.

Show this list to all those people who say "if you don't like things, run for office"...lol...you think an average American has the resources to compete with THESE people? Does anyone --- anyone beside other multi-millionaires --- think these people have a clue about what regular citizens are dealing with? Seeing a doctor or paying the electric bill? What to do about their retirement income? Where their next paycheck is coming from? These "leaders" have set up (for themselves, at taxpayer expense) a separate and VERY special health care system, with no deductibles, that's FAR better than what regular citizens have. Same for their "retirement" system, which guarantees them a lifetime pension after just ONE TERM! We have become, quite obviously and unarguably, a nation RULED by the wealthy elites who consider themselves better, smarter, and much more valuable than the "normal" or "regular Joe Citizen". And we they don't even bother to worry about we think about it anymore. Oh yeah, one more thing. This is just the top 25....there are dozens upon dozens upon dozens more millionaires in the House and Senate.

Just think, it wasn't all that long ago that Bill Clinton got himself into all that trouble, as did Hillary with Whitewater, and they were begging for money to help pay their lawyers' fees? Now look. I guess the book each wrote as well as all the speeches the former Prez gives have really paid off. Or is that figure just for Hillary alone?

Misleading to include Clinton. She's not an elected official and in no way a current "politician". Leave her off the list until she runs for something again (hopefully never).
