Dirty Debt Collectors Sued Under RICO Act
A judge has set an interesting precedent, allowing a pack of skeevy debt collectors get sued under the RICO act, the Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization law.
There are many of the same practices being used in this area, so beware of the attorneys, process servers and other predatory people looking to make money from the woes of others.
There are no requirements of anyone wanting to serve legal documents. All they have to do is sign a paper stating they served the document on an individual and throw the documents away.
These people need to be trained, licensed and held accountable
