The Fruitland Police and Fire Departments will be holding their 4th Annual “Christmas for Kids” program which combines fundraising and collection efforts for families in need in the Fruitland community. Each year, the generosity of local residents and businesses has grown significantly which has allowed us to provide new toys, clothing and food items for numerous families with young children.
Collection boxes will be placed at Fruitland City Hall, the Fire Department and Crossroads Church of God. We will be collecting donated items from November 27 – December 16, 2010. All items collected will be gift-wrapped and delivered to families by “Santa and his helpers” on Saturday, December 18, 2010.
Anyone who wishes to donate any items may drop them off at any of the above locations.
