Taxes: Who Can You Trust?

When it comes to taxes, who should you trust - Harris or Kratovil? Professional interviewers tell us that when selecting the best candidate to hire, "past behavior" is the best predictor of "future behavior", In other words, don't listen to what candidates "say", look at what they've actually "done", The same is true for others - especially pollticians.

Therefore, when it comes to taxes, stop listening to what politicians "say", and check their record - what they've "done". This provides a pretty accurate forecast of what to expect in the future.

I suggest voters should ignore what Kratovil is saying about Andy Harris' supposed national sales tax! lnstead examine Harris'past voting record on taxes.

What has been the trend? What has Harris "done"?

Voters will find that when taking office as Maryland State Senator, Andy Harris signed a pledge not to raise taxes. And what has he done? ln the 12 years he has been in office, Andy Harris, has never once voted for a single tax increase.

He's stuck to his word!

However, it seems Kratovil has never met a tax increase he didn't like. He has voted lockstep with PelosifReid, tax-and-spend liberals, 85% of the time. In fact, most recently he voted for the Pelosi/Reid cap and trade enerqy tax which, according to lhe Wall Street Journal, is the sinqle larqest tax increase in our Country's history.

So, now you be the judge. Who can you trust with your taxes?

Harris has my vote. How about yours?
