A Detroit-area mother was arraigned this weekend on charges that she had faked her 12-year old son having leukemia to scam for donations. She shaved his head and eyebrows, drugged him with opiates in his apple sauce, and started posting Facebook updates about his condition and her need for help paying his medical bills.

There is a special place you-know-where for people like her!
Right now there is a girl going around Somerset County trying to get "gas money" who ran a scam a few yrs ago telling everyone she lost everything in Katrina.Be careful people.
This is just sick. I do not understand how a mother could do something like this, drug her own child? I am hoping this child has been placed with some loving relatives far away from mom's abusive hand.
