Seriously? People need to get over it. I could understand if she came out looking like Dolly Parton. It's not that bad. Sheesh!
Just a shame that "skin" is so normal on tv that sesame street didn't notice this from the start.

I thought they were bringing her in to bring on an older generation back to Sesame Street...
The same parents complaining about what she was wearing are probably the same ones who have the 12-16 year old daughters who wear their clothes so tight they look like little hookers. Her outfit was today's "norm" for females it seems.
Guess it would have been okay if she was covered in tattoos?
