While we had announced that Delmar Town Councilman Carl Anderton would throw his hat into the race for Wicomico County Council, he took the time to rethink things and he changed his mind. Carl chose to sit back at this time and set his sights on something he felt would be more advantageous for his Family and his community.We truly look forward to Carl's future announcement as Salisbury News will endorse this man and his quest to better the Eastern Shore.

While I would like to have seen Carl run I think it's best that he has the time to distance himself from Tom McGuire. Tom is coming across as being Carl's buddy.
I don't think that is the case but I think it would have affected Carl's run for County Council in the end because people don't know.
Tom McGuire is trying to ride Carl into office.
Carl is a super nice guy and is the kinda person that will talk to anyone and be nice to anyone, but I would hate to think people would read more into than that.
i went to school with Carl for a while here in Crisfield he's a good guy

I know you don't like to have links to other blogs on your site, but at least take a look. All of the Delmar citizens need to be aware of exactly what kind of person McGuire is before it is too late. Take a look and see what kind of person he is. Anderton needs to stay as far away from that guy as he can get.
