MSP Press Release

BRIEF RESUME:

On 06-02-2010
at approximately 1222 hours, Troopers from the Salisbury Barrack received a call for a domestic assault in progress at the above address. Upon arrival Troopers met with the complainant a Clarence Vance who stated that his live in girlfriend had assaulted him. She was identified as Deborah Tyler. Tyler also reported to Troopers that she was also assaulted in the altercation. Troopers determined that Tyler was the aggressor and she was arrested. While Troopers were at the residence numerous controlled dangerous substances were observed and consent to search the residence was granted by the residents. That search revealed suspected marihuana manufacturing equipment and suspected marihuana. Also recovered were several dozen different types of prescription narcotic pills that neither Vance nor Tyler had prescriptions for. Vance was then placed under arrest. Both subjects were transported to the Wicomico County Central booking unit for an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

2. Deborah Tyler age 41 of Eden, Maryland

Both suspects were charged with:
Possession of cds manufacturing equipment
Possession of cds marihuana
Possession of cds non-marihuana w/intent to distribute
Possession of cds paraphernalia

Additionally Tyler was charged with 2nd degree Assault
