GOVERNOR O’MALLEY TO JOIN EPA Deputy Administrator Bob Perciasepe, VIRGINIA GOVERNOR MCDONNELL, WASHINGTON D.C. MAYOR FENTY AT 27TH CHESAPEAKE BAY EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

ANNAPOLIS, MD
– Governor Martin O’Malley tomorrow will join EPA Deputy Administrator Bob Perciasepe, Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell, Washington, DC Mayor Adrian Fenty, federal and state environmental officials and other stakeholders at the 27th Chesapeake Bay Executive Council Meeting. During the meeting, the officials will highlight progress towards two year milestones to accelerate Bay restoration efforts and accountability.

After the meeting, officials will join for a press conference where Governor O’Malley will make an important announcement about the future of the Bay.

Before the Press conference, the Executive Council and Living Classrooms students will participate in a restoration project, enhancing the last protected tidal wetland in Baltimore City. Press is invited to attend and stay for the press conference.
