The Good Old Days

Ah, the good old days!!! For a mere thin dime, I remember the wonderful, great days when I could go to a movie theatre, see a couple cartoons, news reels of current events, a weekly, cliff hanging serial, a "B" movie and then the feature presentation. What happened to those days??????

greed, pure and simple. greed by movie companies, actors, theaters, ect. you used to be able to make a movie for way less then a lead actor gets paid nowadays. and the newer actors just cant hold a candle to people like jimmy stewert, john wayne and so many others

Yeah, they were great times. Filled with raging polio, rampant racism, mob-controlled police, the start of hyper inflation, workers dying in crappy factories, etc., etc.

The good old days weren't all that good.

And you could sit in the theater all day and see it all twice more.

What happened was television and advertising.
