I worked with him back in the 80's at WICO Radio. What a gem of a person!
CR never focused on his disability, never asked for special treatment. In fact, he didn't want it.
A kind, giving man.

I also had the pleasure of working with CR when we both worked together at WICO back in the late 80s-early 90s during my days or should I say nights as the "Midnight Cowboy" CR was one of my radio heroes and one of the reasons I wanted to be in radio...we later worked together for the Delmarva Shorebirds until I moved to New Jersey in 2001..
