Hovnanian's Leading Man

Thomas J. Pellerito, Landover Group President, oversees the operations of nine
homebuilding divisions within Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Delaware,
North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Prior to his current position as Group President, Mr. Pellerito was the
President of Homebuilding, the Chief Operating Officer, and the Director of
Washington Homes, Inc. Mr. Pellerito joined K. Hovnanian homes when Washington
Homes, Inc. merged with the Company in January 2001.

Mr. Pellerito began his homebuilding career in 1980 with Pulte Homes
Corporation in Denver, Colo. Five years later, Mr. Pellerito moved to the
Washington, D.C. area in order to start Richmond American Homes of Virginia for
MDC Holdings, Inc.

Mr. Pellerito is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. and is
also a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. Mr. Pellerito is
involved with numerous charitable and civic organizations in the Washington,
D.C. area.

Joe, Go visit www.ripoffreport.com and look up Pulte homes, which this guy was once associated with. Too many pages of complaints to list. Check it out.

Please compliment him for having the smarts to hire the same law firm that represents the City of Salisbury (can you believe it?) to represent Hovnanian in its lawsuit against the owner of the old Salisbury Mall.

Apparently Hovnanian is not any better than Pulte Homes --- see this online report:

It seems that any time you have a development on a really large scale where the builder hires any subcontractor that they can there is shoddy work.

I also don't understand how you are transferring the reputation of one builder pulte to another based on one employee that has crossed over. That transfers reputation from company to company? That seems rather odd to me.
