Michael Jackson Purchases This Home On The Eastern Shore Of Virginia

Michael Jackson recently purchased this unbelievable piece of property near Cherrystone Park in Virginia, not far from the Bay Bridge Tunnel. You see the house I took an up close photo of, that's the baby house on the property. There's another one twice its size there as well. I'm not sure of the acreage but I was show where it starts and ends and it's a ton of property.

OK, so what would YOU pay for a gem like this? Try, $43,000,000.00!!!!! That's right, Forty Three Million Dollars! My guess is that Michael will have some high powered binoculars in which he can watch all the children playing at Cherrystone Park/Campground.

The Salisbury Zoo & Wireless Internet????

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, RIGHT?

There are a couple of serious issues/problems with this proposal.

First of all, who the hell does the Zoo Commission think they are trying to come off as if they held some kind of Bake Sale to raise these funds to pay for such luxuries? The money was raised from donations made at the gates that say the money you're donating goes to feed the animals, NOT!

The Zoo Commission isn't making such donations, the visitors of the Zoo are. This wonderful group of people seem to take advantage every opportunity they get to pat themselves on that back for what some would think is hard work on their behalf, yet they did nothing to raise these funds. IMO, it's a scam to take money from these donation boxes and give it away to the Zoo the way they are now choosing to do.

Now let's get to this Wireless Internet BS! What in the hell do these people think they're doing? I'd like to poll all the other Zoo's across America and see if 50% of them have such luxuries? My guess is that there probably isn't 10 to 20% of the Zoo's across America with wireless Internet service. It doesn't even matter. You see Folks, the Zoo Commission and Zoo scammed everyone a few months ago asking for new laptop computers. You recall, don't you? They were $2,500.00 a piece when you can get the same ones for probably $700.00 or less even at a local store!

Nevertheless, these were WIRELESS laptop computers and now they must have Internet Access from wherever they are in the Zoo. Oh come on now, BITE ME! This has got to be the biggest crock of crap I have ever seen in business. Just what could they so desperately need while walking around the Zoo that would require them to have Wireless Access to the Internet? NOTHING!

It never seems to end with this spoiled group of Idiots who can't even keep animals alive, let alone do proper paperwork and logs. The AZA has been writing them up for years for failing to do so and they don't need Wireless Internet to do that either.

I can see a Cop Car needing Wireless Internet access. YOU tell me what the Zoo would need it for? Seriously, I welcome ANY excuse whatsoever. My money says these Idiots won't even comment under anonymous and give a decent excuse. However, do tell the Taxpayers of Salisbury what your excuse is for the desperate need of Wireless Internet is for. Then explain it to Public Works, the Fire Department and all the other agencies who could actually use such said luxuries.

Get this too Folks! Karen Jones, (now Chief Accounts Clerk) claims. "The current Internet system doesn't work at all in some areas and not efficiently in others, lending itself to increased uploading time, making it very hard for staff to e-mail, receive data or research information."

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I run a BLOG in Dial Up and I have all the money in the world to PURCHASE faster Internet Service. However, it's not available out in the middle of nowhere, SO I LIVE WITH IT! The Salisbury Zoo has CABLE Internet Service! And they're complaining? GET OVER IT! The reason they want this service, (like I said earlier) is because their new laptops allow them access to such. The next thing you'll know is they'll want money to upgrade everything else there too.

I am flat out sick and tired of these spoiled rotten brats acting like babies in a store crying because they can't have that candy. Someone needs to shut these people down right now and stop this crap. Someone also needs to step in and slam them from giving away ANY money to a Third World Country from donations made from the Night of the Living Zoo. The Salisbury Zoo needs that money to relieve the taxpayers and they need to hold events that raise such said money every single month.

That's right, you heard me. The Zoo needs to be self supporting and the taxpayers shouldn't be forking up the money like that are, ($1,200,000,00 a year) while these people get more and more spoiled with such said luxuries. Enough is enough!

I will be there tonight and there better be damn good answers as to why this is a necessity and NOT a luxury. Let's see what happens. How do YOU feel about it?????

Chris Llinus Gets Off This Week

"Yes, I have been on home detention for close to a year now, and will be off this coming Wednesday, October 24th . . . I'll cut the bracelet off at 8am, take a personal day, go surfing, maybe do a 5-miler on the Boardwalk, and go out to dinner with my wife . . .

Home detention really hasn't been bad at all . . . I can leave the house for work, meetings, and class . . . and I can go outside for tai chi, meditation, and yard work . . . to be quite honest, it's been quite the positive experience, on the whole, and I'm a better person for it."

I can't believe after what this guy did, he got off with one year of house arrest. I'm NOT angry at him for that, mind you. I'm simply saddened at the fact that there are many young black kids that will never see this same kind of light.

Chris is the failed attorney they got involved with Pesto's and the drugs, the drug money and so forth and so on. So this is something you won't read about in The Daily Times. Chris seems to claim he has learned his lesson and is a fixed man. Yeah, right! I would have bought that after 15 years in jail for what he did. I'm sure he's a hero to someone out there though.

Delmarva Dealings Continues To Disappoint

I have been trying to stand by and support Delmarva Dealings recently as best as I can but with a ton of e-mail messages and quite a few phone calls, look, I just don't know what to tell you any more Folks.

I have called GA and he assures me he's going to be posting and after a week I see one post. We all saw a year or so ago when he just dropped off the face of the blogosphere and it would appear he's back to his same old pattern where as he's going to give up the ghost once again.

I can't say as I blame him because a Blog is a very difficult thing to do and many of you don't realize that. There's now the threats of lawsuits out there as well, (not that I care about that) but to many it's something they simply cannot afford.

All that being said, even I have to admit I'm tired of clicking on his Blog and seeing the same Post from days ago. GA, get on the ball or simply give it up. You're dragging people along and quite frankly it's just not fair.

The City Of Salisbury LOVES Sam's Club!

It became VERY obvious last Friday that people working for the City couldn't resist visiting Sam's Club.

Heck, even the Fire Department was there, left their parking lot and then headed over to Circuit City for a friendly visit there as well! I wonder what kind of pictures I could have gotten if I was at the Greene Turtle?

These photos were all taken within seconds of one and other and are NOT on different days. Your tax dollars hard at work.

The first phoito shows TWO City Vehicles facing one and other. The second is the Animal Control Pickup. The final photo shows one of the Fire Department Vehicles. All within minutes/seconds of one and other.

Public Comments

You Have Got To See How These Grown Men Will Act On The Watch Desk

GO HERE and just follow the threads/comments. It's amazing how they'll just make up stories and the names they'll even use while people actually debate back and forth about lies. Yeah, I'd trust information coming from people like, ratsass, Dick Cranium, Joe's Penis and the list goes on and on.

They tell a story of how I pulled in front of a Fire Truck in Delmar and got two tickets for doing so. Absolutely 100% not true, but they love to keep talking about it in the hopes people will believe them. Just like a group of little girls with nothing better to do. Oh, that's right, many of them are sitting around waiting for a fire to break out and have nothing better to do.

Spoteddog even said, "No need to speculate. Fact is he suffers "Little Man Syndrome" and knows that he could never be as honorable, or courageous, honest, or valuable as the men and women on this site." Again, look at the names above. NOT ONE of these so called men, (pussy's) use their real name. ROTFLMAO!

How's this one for a threat? "If there is a group you don't want to piss of, it is FF's and COP's. One day you may need them... You want them in a good mood when they get to your house, mad men with guns and axes can be a dangerous combination." mdblackcloud is yet another pansy afraid to use his real name.

Yeppers, one day I'd like to be a Salisbury Fire Fighter. I say the only man in the entire Department is Larry Dodd. Now here's a guy willing to stand in front of PAC14 and tell the world how it really is. Then when the Mayor yelled at him off camera, he manned up and told her flat out, I'm here as a Tax Paying Citizen and I have every right expressing my opinion. He didn't hide behind a letter with no name and return address. Granted, IMO he's paying the price but I'd rather be a MAN than take orders from pansies, hoping the Uniform would make me look stronger in the end.

If I ever need help, I'll call on real men from Delmar who don't spend their days on line calling black people the "N" word because they think they can get away with it. They're also real men who aren't afraid to use their real names, unlike the FireGirls from Salisbury. Now, the ones that are offended by that statement, I meant it for each and every one of you. For those who are man enough to know me and aren't bothered by that statement, forgive me? You know why it's being said. The funny part is, they'll never know why the real men can walk away from such a statement. LOL

More Watch Desk Names

I sat back and read the Daily Times article last night referencing the Watch Desk and the racial remarks made there on 2003. Yes, it was that bad that they actually wrote an article about it.

On a side note to Rachel Polk & Von Siggers, here are a couple more names to match up with their screen names.

MILK MAN = Joe Scott

Huff-N-Puff = Harold Scott President of Station II

Daryn Scott was just promoted and is the son of Joe Scott. Talk about a shame, because Joe Scott is a GREAT guy! That apple fell far away from that tree, fortunately.

Perhaps later today I'll bring up that article?

A Letter To The Editor

Joe--

I'm a regular reader of your blog, I'm just more of a lurker.

Anyway, I thought you might be interested in knowing about the Ugly House Contest. (www.theugliesthouse.com) Salisbury made it into the top ten in a nationwide search! The Daily Times also did an article about it (though, I thought it made us sound slightly criminal for making a profit GO HERE http://www.delmarvanow.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=200771018060. Even if it's not something you are interested in writing about, I would feel honored if you would vote for us!

Thanks for writing, keep up the good work!

Who Stepped On A Duck? (Caddyshack)

On 10-18-07 the Wicomico County Sheriffs Department investigates Distruction Of Property incident at the Elks on Church Hill Ave. On the eve of 10-17-07 an unknown suspect or suspects caused over $13,000.00 worth of damage to the fairwars and greens on the Golf Course by spinning wheels and cutting ruts with a vehicle on the Course.

Anyone with information referencing this crime is asked to contact the Wicomico County Sheriffs Department at, 410-548-4891.

Delmarva Dealings Comes Back With A BANG!

Although Delmarva Dealings has been absent for a short stint, GA is back and has expressed his opinion, (very similar to my own) on a new Post HERE.

I'm glad to see others sharing these same thoughts as the blame truly falls on Comegys, Cathcart, Dunn & Shields.

Allow me to add, IF something isn't done right language wise in the near future, the only out for the next 12 years will be a Council completely filled with Lawyers. Which now reminds me, Wilber is to blame as well. The language in this agreement should have been better protected as the City pays out some very serious cash every year to that Law Firm.

Once again, (I hate to be repetitive) but you're about to see a major problem with the Old Mall. My guess is that a select few Council Members, (even thought they were warned on this ahead of time as well) will be rescinding the TIF, or at least attempting to do so once again.

I wonder if anything will become of Sassafras in the near future as well?

"Ehrlich Helps Harris Raise $50,000 At Fundraiser"

Grasonville - Tonight, a fundraiser for Andy Harris with special guest, Governor Bob Ehrlich, brought in over $50,000 for Harris' campaign in Maryland's first congressional district. At the event, former Congressman and Governor Bob Ehrlich offered his and his wife Kendall's full support for the Harris campaign.

As the first Republican elected to the governorship in Maryland in over 40 years, Governor Ehrlich is the most recognizable and respected Republican in the State of Maryland. "Republican voters trust Governor Ehrlich's opinion" said Harris. "Ehrlich's support for my campaign against Gilchrest shows that Gilchrest no longer supports mainstream Republican values."

During his remarks, Governor Ehrlich praised Andy's fiscally conservative record while in Annapolis. In response Andy promised to "take my fiscally conservative record from the Maryland State Senate to the United States Congress." The former Governor also praised Harris' record of being a "team player" while he was Governor. "For Republicans to move a positive conservative agenda forward, we must stick together." Harris added.

The event was co-hosted by Karen Oertel, the owner and operator of Harris Crab House (no relation to Andy Harris) in Grasonville, Maryland on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Karen is a well-respected small business owner who has taken an active roll in the Chesapeake Bay Oyster Restoration Project. Karen has a passion for improving the health of the Chesapeake Bay which is one of the many reasons she is supporting Andy's candidacy.

The fundraising totals from this event are added to an impressive third quarter contribution total of $352,000. Andy Harris for Congress in the third quarter out-raised Gilchrest 3.7 to 1. The campaign also eliminated Gilchrest's cash-on-hand lead during the third quarter.

Can We Learn From This?

Wherever you go, people see signs and they just don't listen!

Look at 50% of the people parking in Handicapped Spots, or Fire Lanes. Even locations where the City puts up, (Dee, Dee, Deeee) NO PARKING bags over the Meters, then someone parks there anyway.

I mean, doesn't it say NO PARKING? If only the City followed the same signs that they have at the Asbury Church, people might listen? There's that extra sense of guilt, knowing God will judge you in the end. LOL

The next thing you know they'll be a Toll Booth at the Pearly Gates for those who broke the rules, so ALWAYS keep change in your pockets just in case, well, you know. Have a GREAT day!

Night Of The Living Zoo

Today, Mary Seamen wrote a Letter to the Editor in the Daily Times once again stating it was yet ANOTHER record year. Congratulations, seriously!

This time around, let's hope she's right. You see, for years now, Jim Rapp has stated to the Press that it was a record year, yet the dollars in the end never represented such, just look at their financial statements.

I'm all for the Zoo doing well at ANY time. However, when they take LOCAL money and use it JUST LIKE TERRORISTS DO by raising it in our Country and then sending it off to a Third World Country, this is what kills America. 50% of the money raised there is used for conservation. The Zoo Commission ruled at one point that 10% of that had to stay in Maryland and the rest could be sent out of the Country.

I don't care if 10% went out of the Country, SALISBURY and especially the Salisbury Zoo needs that money! They are burdening the taxpayers $1,200,000.00 a year and that does NOT include money raised from fundraisers such as The Night Of The Living Zoo!

Perhaps the Zoo Commission can sit back and re-think their goals with such said funds and HELP THE TAXPAYERS out this year instead?

Oh, as for the negative comments in the Grapevine, not everything negative comes from Joe Albero, so you know. I would hope by now everyone would come to realize that if "I" have something to say, I say it here and if not here I'll write a Letter to the Editor myself and put my name on it. The Zoo needs to face the fact that there are far more people who do not agree with their management skills and decisions than those hand full that only come out of the wood work when there's a major dilemma.

Getting back to the success. Over the past two or three years, Rapp mentioned how they raised $40,000.00+ from this event. Each year $10,000.00 of that money mysteriously disappeared from the thin air and their financials only showed they took in $30,000.00, (or so). Do NOT come back here and comment stating that $10,000.00 went to props and candy because the money completely disappeared, according to Rapp's figures and statements. Each year they tried to claim it went into candy and so forth but the reality is, you can't spend $10,000.00 on candy for this event, sorry, nice try. For those of you who have been attending these events for years, you'll realize very quickly that the props are pretty much the same each year. The few that change are usually made in house by the Zookeepers and they are very inexpensive. This year I will personally be asking for their minutes and financial statements as I am VERY curious to see if all $40,000.00+ actually shows up on the books for once? Wouldn't that be quite interesting if it did?

You Get What You Vote For!

The City of Salisbury & Wicomico County have comprehensive plans in which they have failed miserably with for the past umpteen years. If the Citizens of Salisbury had voted for the right people, student housing projects wouldn't be a problem today.

However, you get people like Mike Dunn, Lynn Cathcart, Shanie Shields and Shrek himself, Gary Comegys to vote in an annexation while Debbie Campbell almost begs for stronger language and she was shot down time and time again and like the title of this post says, you get what you vote for! Do you remember Comegys stating that Planning and Zoning would protect these neighbors back when they were approving the annexation?

Gary Comegys wasn't even man enough to show up for yesterday's Planning & Zoning Meeting and instead used the excuse of being in Greenbelt for the MML Meeting. Let's see, in recent weeks I have seen Gary at meetings during the day time and now even days on end whereas he also never shows up for work either. That has always baffled me how he can get away with all that time away from his normal job?

Nevertheless, Gary voted for the annexation and then went crying wolf to the City Council because they were going to change it to Student Housing instead of the original Empty Nest Apartments. I flat out told Gary at that very Work Session there was NOTING they could do at this point and then I strongly suggested to Council Woman Cohen and Campbell, stay the hell out of it. Gary made his bed, let him lie in it.

Granted, Debbie & Terry are independent women with very good heads on their shoulders but I had to give them my two cents by stating, he got into this mess, now he wants to drag you into it and bail his stupidity out of it? I don't think so!

The next time you people go to the Polls, make sure you stop voting for Idiots and instead vote for people like Debbie & Terry who care about YOU, not what sounds right to you! Need I bring up the Old Mall as yet another example or is the salt already burning that wound?

So Comegys wrote this lengthy letter making his suggestions in which the Board refused to read. They did pick one simple demand from a list of many and asked that each unit not exceed more than 250 gallons of water per day. If they did so there would be penalties, everyone agreed as it was in line with normal requests from the WWTP anyway.

There were many citizens there hoping to bash the Developers but the P&Z Board knew Dunn, Comegys, Cathcart & Shields put them in a pickle annexing the property and changing the zoning to include apartments and they had no choice but to move forward with a worthy project.

Some citizens were yelling in the hallway, they're going to flip it and make a fortune! NO THEY'RE NOT! But even if they did, who cares? This is what they are in business to do, MAKE MONEY! In this economy, that's not an easy thing to do these days.

Does everyone go to work these days and get a paycheck and think the company that hired them is losing money each and every week? That's how people act anyway! HOW DARE OTHER PEOPLE MAKE MONEY! Get a grip Folks, this is America.

I was one of the only people that stood up and defended the Developer as I believe this is perfect for Students. I believe they should be confined to a particular area with nice housing to live in. One can only hope they keep it that way. Nevertheless, perhaps people will come to learn that IF these Students actually got together and rallied against this local government they could own this City in many ways. There's nothing saying they couldn't all register here, vote for themselves into their own City Council as well as vote in their own Mayor and the whole nine yards. It would be easy for them to revolt legally and screw each and every one of you if you're not careful.

So my suggestion is, while some claim this is a College Town and others claim it's a Town with a College in it, embrace these Students before they get entirely too smart for you and force those of you so hell bent against them to move out of the area for good while they create their own little Disney right here in Salisbury. It's not a game, it could easily happen.

That being said, are you going to work a little harder next time to make sure you and your friends and family vote for the right people next go around?????

Planning & Zoning

I know many of you are waiting to hear about what happened at the Planning & Zoning Meeting this afternoon. I'm going to give you the quick version. Capitol Investments was tables for the third time and it looks like these guys have pretty much run out of air.

As for the Hearne/Orchards Property, the Board passed their changes and they will move forward with 8 conditions. I'm going to stop there and wait for the Daily Times to come out with their article tomorrow because I believe they are going to throw a Comegys Twist to the entire thing and if they do so I'm sitting pretty with information to blast away at them.

I also expect the Daily Times to go after me for what I had to say in the meeting but we'll see what happens in the morning. Could be a fun day tomorrow!

House Fails To Reverse Child Health Veto

WASHINGTON (AP) - House Democrats failed Thursday to override President Bush's veto of their pre-election year effort to expand a popular government health insurance program to cover 10 million children.

A Message From Bob Caldwell

Good morning! We have another "call for action" today. The Salisbury/Wicomico Co Planning & Zoning Commission meets today at 1:30 pm in room 305 of the GOB.

There are two issues of critical concern, both "quality of life" issues: First; the Hearn property, which seeks to change building plans from high-quality "empty-nester" residences to student housing; and second, The Captains property on Camden Avenue, which seeks to expand its utilization as a "non-conforming use" property.

The Hearn proposal absolutely affects the neighbors, and the neighborhood. While economic changes have created potential hardship for the developers, that's what's known in the industry as "risk!" It is an inherent part of the business, and it is not up to the citizens or our appointed commission members to create a risk-free environment for businesses. I think it goes without saying (but I'll say it anyway), that had the plan been presented initially as a student housing project, the outcry would have been significant, and justified. The probability of being approved would have been slim, at best.

The Captain's property has two issues: First, the question as to whether or not it is a "legal non-conforming" property; and second, the impact on the neighborhood. The first question may be an item that can only be determined in court, but the second has no doubt attached. Expanding its use as an apartment building, when it's nestled among strictly single-family detached homes is extremely detrimental to the neighborhood.

I know the time is inconvenient. Some of us cannot attend today because of commitments. But if you're able, PLEASE try to be at the meeting to lend your voice and support to our friends from the two neighborhoods. Hearings are one of the few areas where attending and voicing opinions CAN make a difference. Unless we as concerned, committed citizens make ourselves heard, the degradation of QOL in Salisbury and metro Wicomico County will continue its downward spiral.

Thank you for being in the game, when it would be so easy to sit on the bench and let others carry the load.

Regards.

Bob Caldwell

This Burger King Sucks!

Last night my Grandson asked if we could go to Burger King and get a Kids Meal. Very rarely do we go out and do so but I thought, what the heck. We drove to North Salisbury to the Burger King on Rt. 13 and I walked inside to place his order. As I stood there for a good five minutes, the people behind the counter completely ignored my being there. There was a family of three standing there waiting for their order so I asked loudly enough for the employees to hear, Have You Been Served Yet? They replied, we have, we're still waiting for our food. Since they didn't respond, (the employees) I walked out of Burger King. When I got to the car to explain, I saw the look on his face and thought, what the heck. I walked back in and two guys were leaving and they said, don't feel bad, we waited 14 minutes for our food.

I finally got their attention and they took my order. I asked for a kids happy meal and said, can I have a chocolate milk instead of a soft drink? He gave me the total and as I stood there waiting I looked at the receipt and I was charged for the milk. When I asked him why he said, you substituted the soda for the milk. I replied, yeah, so why am I being charged for the milk, doesn't the meal come with a drink? He said, you substituted it though. I said, OK, then give me the soft drink that comes with the meal too then. We can't do that Sir. I finally gave up and just figured I'd walk away from the whole thing as soon as I got my food. He handed me the bag and I walked out to the car.

As soon as I got to the car I opened the bag, NO KIDS MEAL! As soon as I walked back in he looked at me and said, oh, here you go, before I even said a word. As we drove away I had ordered a burger and I went to open it and it was cold. Now any time I've ever been to a Burger King, their burgers are microwaved hot and I have never received one as cold as the tomato on the burger but this one was. When we got home I then realized the chocolate milk was not a chocolate milk at all, it was simply regular milk.

We all have had bad experiences in restaurants and this is no major exception. However, this is so called fast food and that wasn't the case and when we finally got what we ordered, it sucked! I'll never return to that Burger King and although there were only 5 people in there besides myself, I'm sure this reflects their service and end product.

I'll add, I don't care if the Owner contacts me and offers me a full year of free food, I'm NOT going back. There's your TIP, Idiot!

What's Wrong With This PICTURE?

Yes, my Daily Times finally arrived. However, did it? Could they have delivered the very same paper as yesterday? Nope! It was a new paper, just the same photos two days in a row.

The Daily Times Is A No Show Again

I'm not sure what their excuse is this time but there wasn't a Paper delivered today. I'm sure FOG will be an excuse but the funny part is, the fog has been far worse in the recent past than it is today and they have a 1 hour School delay here in Delmar? I NEED MY MATERIAL TO BLOG WITH! LOL

Going, Going, GONE!

Over the past few months I've watched this barn simply crumble. Once you see these structures become unstable, there's no telling when they're going to finally crash. That's why I was so concerned about that building on Business Rt. 50 the County took care of immediately. I know of several more buildings/barns just like this one locally that are right on the brink of falling over as well and the sad part is, they're still being used.

Someone's Been Listening

What a difference it makes having this vehicle come through the Plaza and clean the grounds. Whenever I walk through that area I'm constantly picking up trash and throwing it into the cans provided just about everywhere you turn on the Plaza. I'm constantly amazed at just how filthy people can be, even on a daily basis. I can be there on afternoon and show up again the next morning and there's trash everywhere.

Nevertheless, it's nice to see the City making some additional efforts to clean things up even more. It truly made a huge difference. I know, go down there and take a look. A new Shop opened up on the Plaza. Somewhat strange, but cool!

May I See Your Permit Please?

If you travel around the City you'll come across these illegal signs all over the place, especially recently. If I were you, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! They are breaking the law and do NOT have the right to illegally advertise and hurt others who use the legal system. Are these more FOB's?

Anonymous Comments Are Turned Off

I'd rather have fewer comments than one or two individuals making sexual remarks about me and my Wife all the time. I think ALL of you know who I'm talking about. This guy has a very sick mind and won't stay off the Blogs.

Oh well, it was enjoyable to allow others to be able to speak their minds about issues without feeling any recourse but enough is enough on the personal sexual attacks.

Lots of Posts tomorrow Folks. By the way, has anyone heard any news about John Robinson and his Television News Show, Radio Show and Print Newspaper he promised everyone a while ago? I remember him saying he had already hired a Reporter for his On Line Newspaper as well.

Soapbox Admits To Name

Over on Soapbox's Site he made the following statement.

"As far as my screen name on the watch desk---so what? I have never denied that any more than I have denied whom I am on this BLOG.

You may think you have ratted me out but such is not the case. Most anyone who knows me knows my identities and my identity was well known in 2003 when what you posted was created."

This is just more proof the Mayor & Paul Wilber botched their investigation claiming they couldn't get to the bottom of the real names of the people making comments.

Soapbox, AKA Spotted Dog, AKA Retired Captain Joe Perdue.

Soapbox Is None Other Than "Spotted Dog" From The Watch Desk

If you read any of the 5 Posts about the Fire Department earlier today you would have seen comments from the Spotted Dog.

Funny thing is, Barrie Tilghman and Paul Wilber couldn't seem to get to the bottom of this information while the City paid him damn good money to research it.

I can find out just about anyone who likes to hide behind fictitious names on these Blogs and many of these people think what they do is funny and brag about who they are and in the end I come to learn their made up names in no time.

Just like Fire Walker is Lt. Rick Rathel. I could go on and on but I'll leave it at that. Soapbox has enough explaining to do now and I'll let Rachel and Von do whatever they like from here on out with this information. As a matter of fact, if I can help them any further against these a$$holes making racial statements I'll be happy to do so.

Let's see who starts squirming now. You should have been careful what you wished for Soapbox.

Anonymous ON or OFF?

I'm going to listen to what everyone has to say on this Post and decide if I should keep anonymous going or turn it off. What do you think I should do?

Mike Dunn Quit Council Because Of Blogs

Isn't it amazing how Mike Dunn claimed he wasn't going to run again because of all the personal attacks from the Blogs, yet Von Siggers and Rachel Polk held their heads high and made the attempt to run again for Office on the City Council. I don't think Dunn had to deal with one tenth of one percent of the personal attacks clearly shown against Polk & Siggers. Do you believe the Mayor did enough and or anything to stop these racial attacks? Didn't Dunn & Cathcart prosper because of such attacks?

Oh, gotta love that picture too, eh? I doubt that TIF would have ever gone through if the leadership was different at the time either. No Sassafras and the list goes on and on.

Worcester Right Shuts Down Blog Based On Threats

Wednesday, October 17, 2007
One Post
It has come to my attention, that I was being threatened. I will NOT put up with that. Therefore, my blog is shut down. I may be back in the future, but I doubt it. I tried bring a different slant on the news that msm pumps out daily. Because someone didn't like it....I was threatened.
Those of you who have my email addresses and want to continue to do so, please, do!

To the person that threatened me......hope you're happy, you got what you wanted.

Posted by Caughtit at 6:56 AM

Although this Blog is not my style, it's a shame to see them shut down. Threats seems to be par for the course on the Blogs but it's unacceptable. For what it's worth, if there's anything I can do to help I'd be happy to do so.

Why I Want To Sell My Home In The City Of Salisbury

You know it's getting pretty bad when you have to live in neighborhoods where the college students pack the front yard, (even at 11:00 AM) with vehicles and they use a Miller Lite Box as a Mailbox. Welcome to the City of Salisbury where more than 500 homes are on the market right now in the City and there are another 700 homes for rent. If you want to sell, well, guess what? This Mayor has made it almost impossible to get any real money from the sale of your property and she's making darned sure IF one goes up for sale it's cheap enough for a slumlord to steal and turn it into a rental.

"Harris Launches First Television Ad"

Salisbury - Andy Harris for Congress launched its first television ad of the campaign today. The ad titled "Values" contrasts Andy Harris' "record of fiscal responsibility, opposition to illegal immigration, and his commitment to winning the War on Terror with Gilchrest's support for higher taxes and amnesty for illegal immigration." said Chris Meekins, campaign manager for the Andy Harris campaign.

Last week, the Harris campaign reported over half a million dollars in contributions. After announcing the large fundraising totals for the third quarter, the Harris campaign has begun getting its message to voters throughout the district.

The television ad has begun airing on cable channels throughout the first congressional district. "Voters throughout the district are embracing my positive conservative vision for the first congressional district." said Andy Harris. "This television ad allows our campaign to get our message to more voters throughout the district."

The television ad is posted on the campaign's website. The public can view the television ad by visiting the "Media" page on www.andyharris08.com.

Wicomico County Sheriffs Department Press Release

Although I had thought someone else within the MSM would have picked this one up, from what I can see, they didn't.

Mr. Gurney Lee York of Salisbury, Maryland was recently arrested by the Sheriffs Department and Maryland State Police. If you'll recall the horrible accident a few months ago where a 14 year old child was killed after Gurney wrecked his vehicle on Brick Kiln Road?

The arrest was in conclusion to a Maryland State Police investigation where the 14 year old child was killed during this car accident.

York was released to the Wicomico County Detention Center's booking & Receiving to be seen by a District Court Commissioner on a preset bond of $50,000.00.

The charges were, Negligent Homicide-Auto/Boat-CDS.

Your Local Fire Fighters

There have been MANY comments of denial based on racism within the Salisbury Fire Department, yet here is more absolute proof they are covering up their true feeling with absolute lies.

Now keep in mind Ladies & Gentlemen, this does not represent ALL Salisbury Fire Fighters. That needs to be very clear. However, there IS a problem within their own network and the fact they are in denial of such clearly shows they are very similar to an alcoholic in denial of their problem as well.

ONE Professional Black Fire Fighter throughout the entire City clearly spells out racism to me, but who am I to make such a statement, right? Therefore I am providing documents showing THEIR true colors.

Mayor Tilghman was confronted about these exact documents and SHE flat out told Rachel Polk and Von Siggers that she doesn't have time to read the Blogs. Paul Wilber was asked to look into this matter and he came back stating he couldn't identify those names to actual people. Heck, even I could find that out.

In the very least, the City of Salisbury has some serious liability on their hands right now. The FACT that they have NOT brought in professional help to secure future problems is yet another form of denial.

YOU be the judge of this information and YOU decide if the City does in fact have a problem at hand?

The Salisbury Fire Fighters use The Watch Desk as their own internal Blog in which they post information about local things going on. At the time this was when Rachel & Von were on the City Council.

Will Delmarva Dealings Ever Return?

While GA Harrison has been busy gardening and working on his Honey-Do List at home, his Blog Site has suffered a stream of attacks, similar to what we went through before returning to Blogger.

I have spoken with GA and he assures me he will be returning. However, he'll also be returning to Blogger, rather than trying to manage his old site. Someone locally has been hacking into our Sites and my guess is one of two people/organizations. Nevertheless, they can slow us down but they cannot shut us down for good.

Also keep in mind, there are some 80,000 Blogs created each and every day around the World. What they don't tell you is, there's probably another 78,000 shutting down every day. Just think about it for a minute. MANY local Blogs have shut down but we tend to forget they were even out there. Considering your access is free and we spend quite a but of time bringing you information every single day, we deserve a break every so often and I know just how GA feels about having some time off. Enjoy it while you've got it GA and we look forward to your return.

Can You Hear Me Now?

For years now Mrs. Brenda Colegrove has been asking to update the recording equipment (which is quite outdated) used at all Council Meetings. Well, heck, it's used at all City related Meetings. It's carried from one location to the other and it's the old audio tape system. Meetings are regularly stopped in order to change the tape, you know the story.

Today's technology allows the equipment to go digital and quite frankly it's very inexpensive to replace. It's smaller and certainly less weight to boot. However, each year Brenda has put in this request, the Mayor comes back falling short of the actual cost and pretty much tying up those expenses for the year, knowing they won't get spent. I wonder just how many items are on the budget that fall into that category?

You know, make it sound good. Yes, we agree you need that equipment and we know it cost $2,000.00, so let's apply $1,200.00 towards it each year and tease Brenda into believing she's going to get it, yet there's not enough there to do so.

That being said, last week I personally sent two letters, one to Brenda Colegrove and the other to Louise Smith, offering to personally pay the difference between the money the City has allocated for this equipment and the actual cost of the equipment, maxing out at $2,000.00 out of my personal pocket. The equipment will help Bloggers to almost instantly gain easy access to copies and produce them within seconds as well as the more important issue, Brenda needs the proper equipment to better her job. Which story will you buy?

The proposal is in and it is expected to be announced and heard within the next City Council Meeting, should Louise Smith actually move forward with it? Accountability, right Louise? Have a nice day Barrie. :-)

Is There A FOB Event I'm Not Aware Of?

Someone installed this portable toilet this past weekend next to the Mayor's hopeful new City Hall on the Plaza. Doesn't it just look grand Folks? Isn't it also interesting how the City of Salisbury, (mainly Barrie Tilghman) is negotiating the purchase of another building and the Taxpayers know nothing about it? How long are you people going to take this crap. Just because Barrie wants a new location doesn't mean you jump the gun without the proper consensus, right? I mean, it's like being a Cop and going, BANG, FREEZE!

Barrie instructed The Daily Times months ago to start a propaganda piece by asking a Poll Question, should the City of Salisbury have their own City Hall Building. They then created a Hey You online portion asking the same question. This is how Barrie works. Now that The Daily Times has asked the question, (yet it miserably failed and flopped as no one really replied) Barrie feels she has permission to go out and spend what's NOT there.

Slow down Barrie and take a good hard look at Station 16. YOU know it's a great idea and could save the Taxpayers millions of dollars. You already own the property and renovating it would be a bunt. That would be the easiest thing to do in Baseball, (in case you're wondering).

It's time for a Press Conference on this matter to clear the air. The Taxpayers want to know what you're up to Barrie, so let them know. Or is EVERYTHING a cover up?

A Sigh Of Relief

It's certainly nice to see the majority of Fire Vehicles parked in their own parking lot rather than seeing them lined in in spaces over at Paul Wilber's Office. As they add on more and more Officers, soon enough they'll have just as many take home vehicles as the Salisbury Police Department. Then we can see them at Sam's Club and the Greene Turtle, Hooters and all over the City, protecting us, of course.

Do You Know This Woman?

A father walks into a bookstore with his young son. The boy is holding a nickel. Suddenly, the boy starts choking, going blue in the face. The father realizes the boy has swallowed the nickel and starts panicking, shouting for help.

A well dressed, attractive and serious looking woman, in a blue business suit is sitting at a coffee bar reading a newspaper and sipping a cup of coffee. At the sound of the commotion, she looks up, puts her coffee cup down, neatly folds the newspaper and places it on the counter, gets up from her seat and makes her way, unhurried, across the book store.

Reaching the boy, the woman carefully drops his pants; takes hold of the boy’s testicles and starts to squeeze and twist, gently at first and then ever so firmly. After a few seconds the boy convulses violently and coughs up the nickel, which the woman deftly catches in her free hand.

Releasing the boy’s testicles, the woman hands the nickel to the father and walks back to her seat in the coffee bar without saying a word.

As soon as he is sure that his son has suffered no ill effects, the father rushes over to the woman and starts thanking her saying, “I’ve never seen anybody do anything like that before; it was fantastic.

Are you a doctor?”

“No,” the woman replied. “Divorce attorney”.

John Robinson has a Blog Site in which the following information was recently added. The last comment is what brings it over the top. Proper Authorities have been contacted and Robinson should manage his site better. GO HERE to see the rest of the nasty comments. The fact that Robinson allowed such a comment and did NOT remove it makes me quite curious as to what HIS intent is? My guess is that he'll be getting a call very soon.

Salisbury's New City Hall?????

Not long ago I announced that I had inside information in which the Mayor was aggressively trying to purchase the Allfirst Bank on the Downtown Plaza. This was confirmed Saturday when Shanie Shields brought it up and the Mayor not only confirmed it, she publicly thanks John Pick for finding the property owners name out so they could contact them further on the property.

First of all, Idiot, they have a HUGE sign on the building with an 800# on it if you're interested in purchasing the building. Secondly, Dee, Dee, Deeee, these people do pay taxes on this property, so why the big deal about Mr. Pick working so diligently and being able to actually find the owner?

Nevertheless, this woman will stop at NOTHING to blow the City's money! For the record. The owner of this property paid $325,000.00 for the property. I have been trying to purchase this building for about a year now and I made two calls into the owner in which he wanted $750,000.00 for it and now all of a sudden it's up to $1,250,000.00! I WONDER WHY BARRIE? Now don't think I actually care because I too own a piece of property on that PLaza and if they sell it for that kind of money, mine will go up for sale too.

Nevertheless, Mr. Holland stated very quickly, the building is not big enough because City Government keeps growing. He's right. Then I mentioned Station 16. It took a few seconds but all of a sudden Shanie Shields turned her head, nodded up and down saying yes and said, good idea.

I don't know why they're missing it but they should finally do something the Citizens want. Keep the old Fire Station 16, renovate it and even add onto it if they must and move the City Hall there. Nah, Joe Albero suggested it and the stubborn Mayor being the Idiot that she is will never agree that I have good ideas. Hey Barrie, here's another good idea, let's see if you like it. Take a long walk off a short pier.
