It will probably be updated by 10:00 tomorrow. I see what you mean though the numbers aren't adding up unless the post for today had already been reported yesterday.
The alphabetical list has not been updated for ten days. It used to be updated Monday and Friday, but when the numbers started climbing rapidly about two weeks ago, the updates stopped entirely.
The map showing counties and zip codes is still updated daily.

Why is it called "Novel" like it is cool or neat or fake?
Novels are fiction books.
If you look up novel in the dictionary it has two definitions. A book is one, the other is “new or something that hasn’t been seen before”. A virus that is novel means that this is the first time it has been encountered
