Delaware Governor Says Schools Closed Through End of Year

Delaware's schools will remain closed to in-person learning through the end of the school year, Gov. John Carney announced Friday. Remote learning will continue.

The state also encouraged people with vacation homes at Delaware beaches to refrain from visiting during the pandemic.

The deadly new coronavirus has closed down nonessential businesses in Delaware.

That is the end of the calendar year folks, Dec. 31, 2020. Parents better get used to having to raise their own kids, no pawning them off on teachers and grandparents.

They should really close them, not just the buildings, but the online as well. While I appreciate the effort, I am no teacher and my younger children are not learning anything from the new platform.
