Troopers Conducting Death Investigation – Stanton


Stanton – At approximately 3:04 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020, Troopers responded to a wooded area located in the 500 block of Main St., Stanton, in reference to four adults that were discovered deceased inside a tent.

The investigation is in the early stages however no foul play is suspected at this time.

The victims will be turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death.

Further details will be released as they become available and if necessitated.

Sounds like it may have been CO that did it since the nights are cold and it is a silent killer.

If it was an overdose it should be treated as a crime or criminal investigation.

When I was about 14yo I used to go camping with a friend,we had a lean to in the woods that we built out of sticks and beanches and we spent many weekends there.We kept a camp fire going in front of the lean to and we spent many freezing nights there,it worried my mother to death,I never hear about kids doing things like that anymore,it's a shame, we had a great time.
