PHOTOS: Manhunt underway in Ferguson after officer shot inside Walmart

Police are hunting for a man they say shot an off-duty police officer who was working security at a Walmart in Ferguson, Missouri.

According to investigators, the officer noticed the man shoplifting from the store Sunday evening. When the suspect was confronted, he pulled out a gun and fired shots at the officer, according to KMOV4. The man then fled from the store, but surveillance cameras captured images of him that were released on Monday.

St. Louis County Police Sgt. Ben Granda said authorities are using every resource at their disposal to track down the suspect, who is described as a black male between 20 and 25 years old with braided hair and a small ponytail. Police released images of the suspect, asking the public to reach out if they can identify the man.

Also I will add, isn't it funny how they will use every recourse they have to try and find this guy, but you are lucky if they even investigate a murder of your family member, you or your friend????

And you clowns call these kinds of people hero's???? Where they look out more for their own than you???? using your money they stole form you?????

12:54 is telling the straight up and embarrassing truth.

A citizen gets murdered, they do a little work and call it a day.
A cop gets shot, not even murdered, and THOUSANDS of cops from all over the place will walk day and night through the mountains, dredge rivers, search entire neighborhoods at gunpoint (and you better let them in your house, warrant or not, or YOU will be killed), put up roadblocks, and NEVER stop investigating.
They are much more valuable than "we, the people" could ever be and it's proven by their reactions to ANY bad thing that might happen to them.
Keep cheering.
