The fights at every school are due to the culture that is embraced by Dr. Hanlin and the staff. This district needs to be completely taken over by new staff that are not afraid to protect the students that want to learn and get rid of the ones who start trouble.
I was told by a staff member that these schools are worse than Baltimore City schools.

I think that the schools use these federal and state mandates as excuses. It's bs. If the schools wanted to enforce discipline they could. Has anyone ever seen the state and federal mandates telling them not to control students? I didn't think so. More lies to send the blame elsewhere.

That can easily be done. The legislative body or the Executive can change their authority to Civil Processing and Court Protection and reduce staffing by 85-90%. Then create a Wicomico County Police force that answers to the County Executive. Existing staff and resources can be transferred to the Wicomico County Police Department and problem solved.

That is exactly what Donna Hanlin and Don Fitzgerald are doing. They know there are Federal and State tax dollars given to schools for each FTE student.
This current Board of Education is not doing anything to save taxpayer dollars. They want more, more, more and they could care less where it is coming from.
They are building their own empire with the best of the best school buildings and we are the poorest county in the state of Maryland next to Somerset.

Exactly!! Why did the City of Salisbury send a fire truck to a county school for 4 teachers that were assaulted?? Wicomico Central dispatched a fire truck and 2 ambulances for a total of 4 patients.
First question: Why was a fire truck dispatched? Why was a $1 million dollar fire truck with 4 high paid firemen dispatched to a medical call? How is this justified? There was no fire so they should never have been dispatched.
Second question: Why were only 2 patients dispatched when there were 4 patients? 4 patients = 4 ambulances
Third question: Why did a $100,000 Chevy Suburban SUV command vehicle respond? It wasn't dispatched. How it this justified?
Fourth question: Why did EMS 1 respond to this call? What is EMS 1? How is it justified.

Dr. Hanlin, Ed.D, is the F***ing problem. The best way to get rid of her is to go to the BOE Meetings and demand that the council get rid of her or there will be consequences at the next election, starting with Tonya Laird Lewis in 2020.
