The Anti-Trump Resistance Is Really against the Deplorables

The impeachment hullabaloo is clearly revealing the Left's virulent hatred of President Donald Trump. The Trump Derangement Syndrome is blatantly on display for everyone to see, especially among the obnoxious Ivy League law professors featured last week in the media. What should be equally obvious is that while Trump is the symbol, the real object of the Left's hatred is we — the average Americans whom Hillary called the "deplorables" and "irredeemables," and the ones that Barack Obama claimed "cling to their guns and religion and have antipathy to people who aren't like them." Our values, our beliefs, our taste in music and food, our very existence offends the Progressives. They especially hate our patriotism and our support for America and the values that undergird our nation's strength and buttress our position as "the greatest nation in the history of the world." Progressives hate our vision of America as exceptional and blessed by God.

They hate that our vision of what America should be, what the Founders designed it to be, is contrary to what they thought was within their reach when Obama promised to "fundamentally transform" this country. They especially hate that we will not bow down to the supposed superiority of the elites, those who have gained control of the levers of power in the bureaucracy, Congress, educational hierarchies, the entertainment industry, and numerous other segments of culture and governance.

Well you believe me now. These people are luciferians. It burns their very souls because when it comes down to the rubber and road its all about our faith and commitment to clinginess to JC

So much wrong here.

Look... this article is what is WRONG with America right now. All of it. It is poisonously bi-partisan... and paints a wholly inaccurate representation of Americans... on both sides.

Sure, it stokes the confirmation bias and keeps you reading (i.e. keeps your eyeballs on their page and on their advertising... THAT'S what this is about)... but seriously. Half of America is liberal democrat. These are your family and neighbors and coworkers. We have SO much more in common than we have differences.

To call the "Ivy League" professors obnoxious because you don't agree with what they said. The are the EXPERTS in their field... the most educated and knowledgeable in areas of the history of the founders, the Constitution and Impeachment. These are the most qualified people to speak on these issues. If you had a pipe burst in your home... would you listen to the master plumber? or your neighbor who has no plumbing experience just because you like his advise better?

Seriously? To claim that a certain FOOD or MUSIC belongs to a political ideology is ABSURD. That liberals hate "your" beliefs... HALF of America is Democrat... that means most Democrats are Christians! Saying someone hates your patriotism or hates America is as stupid as saying someone hates us for our freedom! It is patently nonsensical!

This entire article, rather than ACTUALLY addressing the differences, and the actual positions of the opposition... is building a GINOURMOUS strawman and arguing against that.

We HAVE to do better than this, as Patriots and Americans. All of us. We need to recognize, and devalue this sort of poisonous partisan propaganda. THIS is why nothing gets done. THIS is the swamp.

Exhibit A. This is the result of this poisonous partisan propaganda.

Actual Americans, calling other Americans (both groups that are made up of Christians), as "luciferians".

The absurdity breeds more absurdity.

This has to stop. We have to recognize this and stop it. We are spiraling towards Idiocracy and it has to end.

Liberals follow lock step what their told deplorables think for themselves and can’t be tolerated.

7:59 You are so so blind

See, that's the point being made... each side of this incredibly polarized partisan environment thinks THEY are the ones that are critical thinkers and the other walks lock step.

Me looking from the outside in, it sure seems like all of these folks that walk the party line are on BOTH sides.

We view the other sides as caricatures of them, not real people. We aren't so polarized when we actually get to know each other, find common ground, and get to really discuss issues without devolving into these ludicrous strawmen cartoon characters... this is on BOTH sides.

I'm totally o.k. with being wrong, but you have to articulate as to how... present an intelligent cogent argument making your case.

Just calling someone "blind" only proves the point being made! Poisonous partisanship run rampant!

11:15 That’s for you to figure out. I learned long ago that some people can’t see the forest for the trees no matter how many times it’s shown to them

7:59...yeah, yeah, yeah...we've heard your rants on here before and we're not listening. I know without a doubt, it's wrong for a person that they feel a different gender and to walk in the restroom with a child. I know, that same sex people are delusional(at best) and I'm okay with that but don't force me to accept it and if I don't brand me. I could go on, but I'm sure you know where I'm going with this and one day you will realize your mistake...smh

May be you should spend some time reflecting in a mirror then, friend. Your reply is not an answer, nor is it a rebuttal. It is wholly avoidance and obfuscation.

I said I am o.k. with being wrong. I am open to changing my mind, if presented with compelling reason and evidence to be.

If you cannot articulate your position, then I call it invalid, and assume you don't know how to articulate it.

It's quite possible you don't want to have to defend your position for fear it may be wrong. Let that go. It's o.k. to learn and grow. That is what we are SUPPOSED to do if we want to get anything done. That is why I am open to changing my mind, as long as what is presented is compelling.

What are you even going on about? Some strange tangent about gay or trans people? Where was that part of anything discussed?

What is it you think people do in a bathroom other than urinate or deficate? Don't bathrooms have stalls that are private?

What does any of this have to do with what you were responding to? The point was this article is wildly inaccurate and makes false claims about what it thinks it's opposition is and represents... and that was pointed out. It's poisonous partisanship is the problem and that was exposed.. how were you addressing that in anything you said?

I agree with 10:10
Take the blinders off and stop being a sheepeople 7:59. Don't be led around by these "so called, self proclaimed" experts

Same problem... saying "Take the blinders off and stop being a sheepeople" isn't an answer. It's not a reply. You didn't articulate anything, nor did you posit any contributing ideas.

I'm willing to do as you ask, but cannot until presented with good reason to. That can not happen unless you contribute ideas to sway my conclusions.

As to the experts in their field... simply thumbing your nose at them and calling them "so called" and "self proclaimed" is ALSO not an argument, or a good point. You have reason for us to doubt them, please present the evidence as to why we should not. Simply not liking what they have to say is not good enough. These are the most educated, most knowledgeable, wisest, most learned people on these subjects. So, I should believe you..... WHY? Over them? Why? Please, I'm listening.

Help me out... if a pipe was burst in your home, whose advise do you trust on what to do? A Master Plumber? Or a Lawyer? Or a Politician. No need to answer, the question is rhetorical, OF COURSE the Master Plumber. So why the cognitive dissonance on your part when it comes to these experts your thumb your nose at.

I'm open to hearing it, and changing my mind... but without actually forming an argument you'll never do so. I wonder if YOU even know why you think it so either... and you are simply parroting what your news entertainment media source has been spoon feeding you.

We have to do better than this.
