I'd rather have my tongue stuck to the White House flagpole than read this.

It's amazing that none of the book buyers had any idea of what was going on, despite shelling out hundreds of thousands of dollars. One might rightly think that the corruption leads to directors and financial officers, who are supposed to know what they're buying and where the inventory is kept. If it wasn't really about books, but about buying power and influence at the state senate and mayoral levels, there are a lot more rocks to be lifted. Are state and federal officials up to the task?

The last part of it gave the details of how she played a huge shell game with those books and other people's money, much of it from non-profits that are supposed to serve the public. It was really something to see how many fish she caught using the same bait. What's really scary is to think how much this stuff goes on and how many people see it just as the cost of doing Maryland's business.

Cummings had a $1M re-election fund when he died. Wonder how many books he sold.

Funny how the leftmedia has been quiet on this.
