Former Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon questions 2020 run on Facebook

BALTIMORE —Former Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon posted a campaign image on her Facebook campaign page implying she is considering a run for the position in 2020.

The "Sheila Dixon for Mayor 2020" image was posted to her Facebook page Wednesday morning with the caption, "What do you think Baltimore?" She has not officially announced her run for the seat.

The post comes as Mayor Catherine Pugh took an indefinite leave of absence amid controversy over her sales of books to the University of Maryland Medical System while she was a board member. Pugh resigned from UMMS as a board member last month, along with returning a $100,000 payment to the medical system, part of what she received for selling children's books to the system.

She is not running for POTUS. She was testing the waters to run for Mayor of Baltimore again. When she was Mayor she was caught stealing gift cards meant for the needy.
