Nothing he does or inspires to surprises us. He has tried to make the area all bars. If the cartoons depicted tells us it's for children in that location bad idea. With the 3rd Friday wonderers this summer and the bars they're asking for trouble.
This might be an April Fools prank but it is in poor taste. Not shocking coming from the people in Salisbury. I saw a lot of things posted on facebook yesterday for April Fools. In each and every one of it them it stated it was a prank. This is needlessly getting people upset for nothing.

There is no building with this architecture in downtown Salisbury.
If you have ever been to any of the many Art districts that promote this , Greenville S.C. or even Waikiki Hawaii they are called WALL ART DISTRICTS. and become a great tourist destination. Art is in the eyes of the beholder. The good news is that a lot of people see this as value added.
Tacky crass and vulgar. But it's to be expected. There is a complete lack of any culture, good taste, sophistication among those making these kinds of decisions in Salisbury. This is why Salisbury is known and will be knows as The Crotch of the Eastern Shore.
It said Market street. looks like the old Sam Seidel Insurance building.
1:31 are you a moron???? The building beside ALLEN and Sheriff, this is the exact building that was just painted by The ALLEN and Sheriff Building... So yes this building does exist in this shape and color, though there is no my little pones as of yet...

It may be an April Fools joke but it is from the Mayor of Salisbury and his Downtown Salisbury Twitter account. Regardless, it is ugly and an embarrassment to tweet anything that looks like this.
It's a very unprofessional tweet for the City of Salisbury.
I guess the rainbow sidewalks in front of the old firehouse and the library is an April Fools joke also!
The only Joke is Jake Day, he is the one that retweeted the stupid picture.
It's My Little Pony people stop reading too much into it!!! Maybe it is a renovation of a kids play place or activity center. I guess my 6 year old granddaughter is a freak because she collects these things and everything unicorn? Lighten the F up and stop with the conspiracy theories!!!

Another joke is the "new" road construction at the zoo. It is so narrow you can barely get your car thru it. It has a tiny circle in the middle of the road. I run over the edge of the circle every time I drive thru this new disastrous traffic patter.
Then at the park they took away a bunch of parking spaces.
The whole thing is horrific.
I would love to know who designed this monstrosity.
Then some stupid lady, instead of using the side walk and cross walk was walking in the narrow road with this "please don't hit me" look on her face.

All the renovations in Salisbury seem to be not well thought out. Today I kept driving over very big pot holes on EVERY street. That should be the first project. Not everyone can ride a bike or walk all over town. As for "safety" of pedestrians, if they are not smart enough to figure out how to cross a street, well you can't fix stupid.
Liberals continue to slap the face of ordinary citizens.
I wonder if Salisbury got the ok from Hasbro, or whoever's got the license on My Little Pony? That would be a multi million dollar lawsuit.

Hope the historic society approves of all this. We went through hell to replicate our small fence because of them.
Try driving through the park. The roads have been all redesigned and it's a nightmare.
We Tried to take the grandkids to the zoo Sunday. Got so hung up in traffic from people not knowing where to turn and park, we left. It's a total mess. More of Jake Days stupidity.
Going to be alot of people hitting those obstacles they have put up permanently in the middle of the road in the park. Band concerts in the summer will be a nightmare now for parking.
